If Brimson was out because of a sprained ankle I might put him in the NPRs this week.

Back injury though, not taking that risk

I don't think Morgan will be as dominant as you think. Drinkwater is uber fucking confident (basically the only trait Clifford needs to be a great player imo) and will call a fair bit of ball. And Morgan is fucking ordinary at kicking. He'll still get the majority but Drinky should get a few Kms as well.

Drinkwater is cheaper, but the real kicker for me is that he will play this week, whereas Brimson won't.

If Drinkwater fizzles he may be a swap for Brimson when Brimson does start.

Like - Dfii & Maubbs - This option is the far more balanced option. Will Dfifi get the 80, and with a full strength broncos back - does he start? Also I would be all over Maubbs if Morris wasn't coming in round 3. Just have a feeling something will happen Maubbs may not get the 80 with Crichton on the bench.

Dislike - Lolo & Watkins - Lolo is Lolo, top three fantasy fun. For watkins though, I just have this feeling that he will be much better this year. New Coach and second year back from ACL. But then again he plays for the titans.

Say Lolo averages 63, Mann 33 and Stinson 37 that’s 133 total.

Knight averages 49, Croft 46 and Horsbrough 44 that’s total 139.

My issue with going Lolo is it stops you going for mid rangers who can make good money.

Are others also torn on this?

Luai is likely to score sub 30 unless he gets attacking stats. Mann should average well enough. Across 16 games in the HLFs Mann has averaged 41.5 points. He had a score of 8 which is concerning and two other scores below 20. At the same time he has 5 scores over 50 points.

I am not sold on Aubbs, but I don't rate Watkins at all really as he averages 2 less points than he is priced at. If it was Lolo & Shibasaki then I would probably prefer that over Aubbs and D. Fifita.

A- Mitchell Moses and then billy Walters as 4th on my bench
B- Jeremy Marshall King/Croft and Hess on the bench

Some things to remember before lockout:

Get your team set well in advance because failhub
Breath
You will more than likely make 2 trades next week
With a rolling lockout Captain, Vice and Dogs/Eels are only ones locked in
Go with your gut
Don’t risk Captaincy Round 1 
Breath
Don’t look too much into Byes/Origin, so much can happen before then
Don’t run with players who are injured or ‘may be back next week’
It’s generally best to spend most of your cash

I just think Brimson goes over 40 and Drinkwater 35 so the cheaper aspect doesn’t bother me and if Brimson was only out for a week I’d probably NPR him, back though as stated and no definitive return probably rules him out

Luai scored 18 in only game with Cleary at 5/8 and has been sin binned 3 out 5 games as starting 5/8

Mann averages around 30 tackles in 2019 games at 5/8 which is where average comes from

Yeah my argument wasn’t Luai is better I don’t think that at all it was just that they’ll score similarly enough that you could use the money you save elsewhere. But fair points
