    Possibly a swap to Kerr depending on performance and minutes but likely another week for the dud

    Everyone is already trying to ditch him when they've had max 3 players in action, but we only get 2 trades each week, and if you trade out everyone who falls a couple points short of their BE you'll run out before Finchy

    Although the Dogs were terrible, the last couple of days can't have been good prep for them. they won't be that bad every week

    Agree. I wouldnt be trading him next week

    Stimson will play 80 next week. JMK will be talked to not overplay his hand, lewis will pass hopefully.

    You've gotta have a bit of faith in who you've chosen. Hindsight is 20/20 but theres no denying an 80 min 2nd rower priced at 390k was a steal. What about if Brailey plays 60 mins for 30?

    I can't 1 trade him to anyone anyway so I am stuck with him until he doesn't start or a very nice cheapie emerges from the wood work

    Haven't read much of the last few pages, but a few comments on the evening;

    Game one, round one so you can't take too much from it but I thought both teams looked terrible. Very rusty, but I guess they can be forgiven for not looking like title contenders in round one. Defensively, both looked solid but both as bad as each other in attack. Eels just got lucky once.

    Anyway, it was a low scoring game in terms of Fantasy scores and as an owner of Stimson and Moses I'm personally not too concerned about either. Surprised Moses managed to crack the 40 mark if I'm being totally honest. If anything, it's kind of a good thing. If he can have a match that terrible and still score 40 points, I think that puts him in good stead for when he/The Eels have a good match. Because that wasn't one.

    As for Stimson, yes, he was shit. But if he retains that position I reckon he'll have better games than that more regularly. But I guess that's probably the main concern, that he will retain his position. He certainly didn't do himself any favours, but then who else really shone that will steal his spot? Hopefully he's given a few weeks and not just dumped due to that match. If so, Wakeham would be in trouble too...

    Anyway, the one positive I hope comes from that match - I hope people stop talking about the Eels' "easy draw." The sooner people acknowledge that the Eels have not won a premiership since 1986 and that there is never, ever any such thing as an "easy draw" for the Eels, the world will be a more logical place. I heard today they don't even play at home for most of the start of the season, so they'll be getting belted all over the place early on if they keep playing like that.

    You're exactly right he was a popular pick in the end so it's not too bad. I only put him in because of the CHN issue and last minute starting role. But the first few weeks are for catching up and using trades. Hopefully i'll just have to make the one! I'm notorious for running out of trades haha

    He did seem quite appealing and if i didnt have Su'A and J.Williams as 2rFs already on my bench i may well have run with him. He played terribly, no doubt about it, but at least there should be options available. Most will probably trade down and pocket some cash, while others might have a 2nd look at him and maybe a few people will have a bit of money in the bank and will upgrade. Realistically the amount of trades we get is fairly generous, yes you dont want to burn them but there are enough there that you can get rid of a few 'Stimson types' without being concerned about damaging your final team.

    I guess the question regarding trading him is "How would you feel if he pumps out a 60 next week?" Doesnt look likely but if you do trade instantly you may have to live with that small possibllity. Anyway, whatever you decide, i hope it works out.

    Are you serious that is crazy, especially because they need all the points they can against an enhanced Racing Point this year. Were they forced to withdraw?

    Jeezus wept, I can say with 100% conviction that I'll be holding onto Stimson as long as he's starting. No way I'll make big calls based on tonight alone. If he's dropped or relegated to the bench that's an issue, but no way I'll consider discarding him if he starts again. Gotta give the fella a chance. I'd hope that goes for both Dean Pay and Fantasy coaches. Well, obviously it'd be kind of cool if all Fantasy coaches dumped him and he did turn out to be a solid unit... but I hope Dean Pay's not already ready to dump him too.

    I can’t as Walters is 17th man and in emergencies I have Musgrove, Luai, Rudolf and Kennedy.

    Stimson was my 16th man and I only have 27k spare.
