I reckon the NRL will be hoping every game happens this weekend, closed stadiums or no.
But then postpone from Monday. Hope for a 15 round season where everyone plays each other once?
I was taking the piss out of people panicking as recently as a few days ago, but it's dawned on me that if there's a few dozen reported cases in Sydney already there's actually hundreds, if not thousands, of undiagnosed cases here.
If Forrest Gump has it, a few of us probably have it too.
Just lock everything down and socialise the distribution of toilet paper from Monday.
But then postpone from Monday. Hope for a 15 round season where everyone plays each other once?

Townsville city is pumping today - lots of people around the city centre already, mostly in cows and broncos gear, shops busy
it's a clear, fine, hot day with a strong sea breeze blowing
first game in the new stadium - there will be a riot if they cancel the game and/or lock out the crowd...

V'Landy's reckons the game is going ahead with a crowd despite govt advice.
That seems risky, would there be legal ramifications if people got sick?

I don't think there will be any way of knowing if someone got it from the game or not.
