Yeah he's not the cheapest player around, good pick for those that got him in. My priority is picking up the cheap cows that I've missed after after this roundmultiple.scoregasms wrote:If you didn't pick Horsburgh it was due to job security not scoring potential. I think players like Stimson/Hess deserve second chances. You know they are playing 80 minutes (I think Stimson will okay 80 going forward). Players like Horsburgh and Guler won’t be playing the Titans every week. Hoping Mann can run a muck against the Warriors today
Only trades you should really be making are for long term injury or from one cow to another (ie Rudolf kills it but Musgrove shits the bed... you trade to rudolf)

Nah, scoring potential too- I thought there were midrange guys who would make more money than Horsburgh playing on the edge. But as a middle I think I would’ve rated his scoring potential higher.
But I agree - there’s no chance I’d trade him in now.

But what if Horsburgh is playing like he did last up until Bateman returns then Tapine could be the one to make way. That's what I'm weighing up. The very fact that we all thought he'd be on the edge & nek minute he's in the middle indicates to me Ricky could persist with him there. Tapine all pre season saying he wants to play lock then Ricky chucks him on the edge & prefers Horsburgh at lock.

Wonder how the coding will handle Haas going over 1 million and if it has any problems after lockout

When researching Horsburgh a few comments on the Raiders forum put me off him.....saying he would suck on the edge due to his poor lateral movement so I passed on him. Then as we all know he starts at lock & plays 62 minutes straight without a rest.

Because it seems Verbal and I are the only 2 people who created teams entirely made of players in action on Friday night. These are "joke" teams that were made just in case Corona scares means the rest of the round got cancelled, in the hope we could claim overall honours. Neither is our actual team.

The assumption is Ese'ese to bench, Barentt to lock, Sione to edge.
That seemed to be the plan before Sione got injured. It might change based on performances whilst he is out.

407/7. Seems about average if not slightly below. Stimson I tolerated but Hess has fucked me off. Every year I fall into the midrange trap.

"Call It Off Now" up to 919. 45 ahead of Verbal
119 ahead of 3rd place
Wtf. You’re on over 900 points???? How many players to go.
Insane!
[ok have caught up on your joke team reference]
Whew. MS has to suffer me in fantasy fantasy due to not being able to pick himself, so can’t have you characters sneaking away to a 400pt lead

I've got 455/7 so doing well enough to not want the season cancelled just yet. JMK only real let down but was in a horrid game for fantasy.

Hess was against Fifita for 80 minutes. Hardest assignment in the league.StormTrooper96 wrote:I think players like Stimson/Hess deserve second chances. Agree re minutes. Can’t see them being high on my priority to drop, until they are dropped in real life.

No excuse. He had so much criticism last year and won his spot back. He looked as ordinary as last year. Had the opportunity to really stand up but failed. Hard assignment yes, but could have been so much better. Getting the ball passed to him would have helped too.

Hurts to have to deathride Mann today after being sold on him as a cheapie option all preseason, putting him in most team iterations, talking him up, believing in him, and then promptly having a brainfart 5 minutes before lockout when someone mentioned Wakeham and seeing I could save 10k, going completely cold on him. I can take the bad Stimson pick because I was convinced by him (and kind of still am), but this one will hurt far more because I still don’t know why I picked Wakeham. Pre season jitters I guess.
