the Warriors were playing when it was announced, so the players themselves would definitely not have been consulted.

Honestly, I don't know why they'd stay. It seems obvious we'll only get 1 or 2 more weeks in at most. Why would you put yourselves through that much time away from your family, just to have to isolate for another 2 weeks when you get home.

How concrete is this Brooks being out situation?

Papalii plays the first 25 and ends up playing less minutes than both Warriors forwards debutants

Meanwhile with the Knights personnel and bench, I kinda like Saifiti and Ese’ese having one spell at the start and not returning or returning very late. I just wish they didn’t given me a heads up.

When raiders arrive in nz next week, they would need to self isolate, not play a game of league :p

Warriors game in round 2 is scheduled in NZ, so that obviously cant go ahead.

Warriors could fly home tomorrow then back to aus in 2 days time.. but what a fuck around. Theyd get flogged wherever they were then forced to play rnd 2

They can go back tomorrow as scheduled. but after that who knows.

Right now they can could come back to Australia (with 14 day isolation when they return to NZ), but in 4 days time further restrictions might be in place. Would you want to risk being caught away from home to play in a competition that might be suspended at any moment.

It’s so clearly just someone like Danny W making shit up. A couple of minutes after the NZ PM announcement he has an early report of the NRLs position. They wouldn’t have had a position at that time. Pure guessing and not a good one in this case because it’s not strictly about footy.
