They've had a Dr from Brisbane on TV the last 2 days. Apparently an old Malaria & old HIV drug both stop it. So because they are already approved and available they are going to start trialling on people who present with Corona. Apparently 50 hospitals are on board.

This is a good article. These doctors at a QLD Uni have apparently come up with a way to cure COVID-19.... they are starting tests on mice now with the hope to start human trial mid year. They believe they already have a vaccine that works, it is now more the case for getting that vaccine to 7 billion people around the planet

Seems like one of those points that could really pay dividends. In a fully fit pack does he get those minutes though hmm

    That's a treatment - not the vaccine

There's about 50 labs worldwide using different techniques to develop a vaccine. The one in Brisbane uses the fastest method (molecular clamping) which takes about 16days apparently. The time involved is in testing and producing the vaccine.

I was listening to the ABC medical expert last night talk about the diffence between this and SARS (and also found that COVID19 is the name of the symptomatic disease - the virus itself is called SARS-COV2) - SARS was easy to contain (and therefore kill off) because you didn't become infectious until after you show symptoms. COVID19 is different in that the transmission can happen before symptoms, therefore the only way that it will be controlled is through mass vaccination (or everyone getting it, but even then they don't know how long your immunity lasts after contracting the virus). Basically it's probably with us forever now, like the flu.

And how does that even work? How many Warriors would have flown over for the weekend? Do all the reserves come over? If Hiku and Herbert went home, how many players would Kearney have to select from?
Warriors players likely hold their place. So few in australia

I believe I saw he only has 15 NRL players to choose from and will need to select the rest from whatever players from the CC stayed behind.

I believe he will play 80 mins each week. I picked him up before the season started because I expected Martin to play around 60 mins with Yeo spending some time on the edge. After that last game, I can see Kikau starting from the bench again with Yeo moving from left edge to the middle after 20mins, and spending the rest of the game there. It looks like JFH will start at lock and then transition into prop.
