NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 17 - Crack'a'Corona Sunday

Fellow L. Knight owners although her redeemed himself in his 2nd stint he did only play 48 mins so if this is the case going forward he won't be posting 50+ scores. Are we keeping or selling. I look at Horsburgh who played 62 mins & scored 50+ & he's 105k cheaper pre price changes. After price changes the price gap will lessen.

Sorry, in Supercoach you can see your opponent’s team at Game 1 kick off, in Fantasy you can’t see it until the last game kicks off? Makes that last game very exciting I guess!

If I didn't know better, I'd say that maybe all the good players have high ownership because people want them in their teams

Selling, far too much money tied up for under 50 minutes.White Lightning wrote:Fellow L. How anyone picks TPJ is astounding!
That's his role in the pack i.e. the enforcer. It's his job to push legality & intimidate/rough up the opposition. He's too ill-disciplined to be considered for fantasy but in real life he's just performing his job.

For someone who averaged 38 minutes last year, if people were banking on 50 minutes every week they were probably a little bit ambitious

Other then the fact I went Ese'ese and Shibisaki over Tatola and Watkins as my POD, The week has gone decent. I had Stimson as well but starting the season with 10k ITB will make him hard to flip. Not convinced that Ese'ese is a definite trade out as well, he scored decent for only getting 20 minutes and none of the starting middles seems to get the minutes they would normally expect. Conner Watson also played lock and would expect him to spell Brailey at hooker in closer games also. In a closer game, I would expect Ese'ese to get 45+ minutes and score well which is why ill probably hold and see.
What does everyone else think on this topic? would love some input.

Watching him in the trial I think he ends the year as their second best middle after Twal. Easy pick for mine and should be a great cash cow

Knight scored 6 points above his BE and you want to trade him out....

Stimson, Hess and Su’A all underperforming is a worry, was hoping at least one of them would take me up to a keeper haha. It’s going to be a hard slog at this rate

Funny you say that, it was your thoughts on Wakeham that convinced me to pick him over Mann. I definitely take responsibility over my decisions though, that’s not my point- and I don’t regret picking up players like Esy E when the stats absolutely backed him up. But when you take a chance on a POD and it doesn’t pan out then it is a lot worse result. My PODs failed across the board so the result was catastrophic. But definitely the complete Cookie Cutter was the way to go this year.Milchcow wrote:

I don’t think Brailey leaves the field unless he has to honestly, they were raving about him and watson is a liability as an out and out hooker but in a roaming role he can do what he wants

What do you think Horsburgh’s role and minutes will be when Bateman gets back?White Lightning wrote:Fellow L. Wakeham looked good out their, i am not dumping him based on that 8-2 scoreline.

He's not doing his job properly getting suspended all the time.

For the games so far - mins played for starting locks
N. Brown = 61 mins (it just didn't happen score wise)
A. Elliott = 52 mins (shite player)
Horsburgh = 62 mins (beast)
Arrow = 52 mins (Peachey stole his mins)
Taumalolo = 73 mins (beast)
Carrigan = 60 mins (beast)
Ese'ese = 25 mins (wtf O'Brien taking the piss)
I. Papalii = 42 mins (the sooner Tevaga is back the better)
Knight = 48 mins (great 2nd stint)
J. Williams = 61 mins (60 mins is great for him)
Yeo = 80 mins (injuries to Tetevano & Kikau helped)
Radley = 55 mins (he is so over-hyped)

The 3 "edge" options played big minutes (Murray 70, Su'a 70, Lowe 55). Add in 50 for Tatola and 50 for Turgess and there isn't much left to spread around
