@ BB - I forgot to mention I like those trades & getting J. Hughes. Like you I had him then removed him before lockout & if I had the cash I would buy him.

It's theoretically sideways but thinking about correcting the brainfart and doing TTrbo -> DFifi now, assuming I can still afford it through a reasonable 2nd trade downgrade (Ese'ese to FRF?).
He's going to score big this week due to lack of anyone else in the Broncs pack, and then will be a fully fledged keeper price when the season starts again in June/July and basically impossible to get in until August/2021.

I was happy to beat the Autofill team. It was touch and go until Sunday's games.

Yeah, if not for corona likely ending the season, I would say that Hughes is a big candidate for a Jack Wighton style rise to gun status

Hang on, did you now start with Koro?
How did you end up in my fantasy fantasy team?

Personally think stimson will still make money but is it a good idea to sell him for shiba and then wiliame to emg for backline cover

I started with Koro. Those trades are for the Fri night team that used Turpin

Around 35-ish right
Sutton is due back, would he be behind Guler now?

Kinda hard to tell, when Bateman was injured last year Sutton played lock but by GF, Guler was in 17 and Sutton wasn't
In trial with Bateman injured also, both were on bench

BEs
The 3rd last 2 columns show the players eventual price if they continue to hit their average (this is obviously going to be very skewed with just 1 round played, but should prove more useful if we get a few more rounds data into it)
With only 9141 points scored (1145 points per game), this was a lower scoring round than every single round last year, so well done everyone who managed 900+

There is such a lack of cheap cows in the WFB/CTR position

With Greenberg and the likes deeming a suspension of the season being "catastrophic" and a likely loss of millions and potentially several clubs do we see the season going ahead regardless. I mean the PM even said that these are young healthy men and if they fall ill will be able to get through it or do we see the government forcing the NRL's hand???

Hey guys, I was out of internet range for the weekend and not gonna bother trying to read what I missed.
Has there been a Grant update?
And perhaps more importantly, do we expect the NRL to run past round 2?
Im assuming the summary of the Warriors CEO's interview has been posted - sounds to me like the Warriors wont play NRL in the near future with the exception of round 2.

When other industries in NZ (note the population difference) taking hits in the Billions, I think the talk of how catastrophic the league season ending is, is way overblown....Admittedly I dont know what the projected numbers are though...
By the way, do you reckon these comps pay out prizes based on overall standings if it does get canned? My mum's team is winning VSDT lol

Yeah, this year in general is going to be really tough in relation to cash generation.

nrl.com says Grant by round 3.
But you have to wonder what the point is if its just a swap deal. Would Grant come up here, train for a bit and play a handful of games before going back to Melbourne?
I have to admit if I was Grant with the question marks over this season I'd be tempted to just stay put (unless he wants to make a permanent move)

Thanks mate - so the deal has been approved? And are you suggesting because of the likelihood of a shortened season, he may not come? Who knows I guess - things changing daily.

There has been nothing official announced about a Grant swap.
Speculation about the effect of a shortened season on the swap is just pure guesswork from my part. There is no statement by a either player/club to back that up.

Sorry, more questions - i literally didnt get to watch a minute of NRL.
Horsburgh - did he play on the edge? And did tapine play 80 at lock?
Did Yeo play 80 at lock too?
And Brailey and Walters - did they both play 80 at hooker?
And finally Friend - as far as we can tell is he splitting time with Verrils. I.e. he played 65 so Im presuming he came off for Verils?
