Yep. Half a round too... get it in the veins

R.I.P. Brian Dennehy. A great actor & people probably recognise more for playing the sheriff in First Blood.

Will do a few games tonight
Rest of round 3 Saturday night (including Newcastle vs Bulldogs and a highlights video)
Round 4 on Sunday (highlights video)
Fox showed the Rd6 Nth Queensland v Newcastle game last week as one of their classic matches. I managed to get the 2nd half recorded onto my IQ box
If I can figure out how to offload it off IQ that will be next week's mini game

I watched the whole thing and already can't remember what happened.
Don't know how I convinced myself that I could remember any of what happened in 2006.

Ok sent Milch my trades Weds and *haven't* changed them. Amazing!
Somewhat heartened by some of the "advanced metrics" posted here showing my team isn't quite as shit as it appears - would be 17th if I could pick the right 17 each week, and most other teams with so few PODs are doing really well.
In conclusion, I'm due...
This week:
OUTS: Farah, Young
I did consider keeping Farah because at least while injured he won't lose money. But decided the alternative of another player losing some money but also getting some points was preferable.
I'm not sure what I was hoping for with Young. Even in NRL Fantasy scoring I feel it would be like picking a 40-45 player to score 40-45 at best i.e. no value. In this format, just a waste of 700k. Worse when you consider I had no memory of whether he'd play lock or hooker. The answer being both and also 5/8. Eww.
INS: Merritt, Douglas, a lot of cash in bank
I've missed all the big scoring popular backs so far - Gaz, El Maz, Sing, M Gidley, even Turner - so rather than chase points I thought I'd take a punt on who will go off next. I feel like Merritt scored 15-20 tries pretty much every year so let's have them early in the season please!
Douglas everyone is getting - should be a solid 30ppg cow.
I now have almost 600k in the bank and a shortlist of about 15 guns I like. Ideally will get one in R5 then Hindmarsh and/or Smith in R7 following team byes. Then might have a passable team, only 6 weeks after the leaders.

And had never traded. So it's really a comparison of ourselves against ourselves to see how much more we score by trading vs just sitting.

In my case, I'm scoring less by trading so far

Watching a replay of a game from 2015 and Rabs mentions how he can't tell the Cronulla players apart.
He's talking about Holmes linking up with Leutele and Feki on the right side.
I am so glad I don't have to listen to him anymore.

Yeah it was around that time he started complaining about difficult Polynesian names and stuff too. Really should've been quietly retired then, but five years on he's still out there.

I think if you get Tongue instead of Hindy in your two trades you'll just be under?
