That Canberra Tigers game was on FoxSports a little while ago. Went to golden point and the refs put away the whistle, Canberra were offside for most of extra time and then snagged a Todd Carney field goal at the death.
At full time commentators said nothing about Canberra at all, just went on about how the Tigers were robbed. Pissed me off immensely at the time, and one of the reasons I hate golden point

You would of thought so. Too many isolation cocktails
Probably best not to get in the habit, with 2020 about to restart, don;t want to sign up a bunch of bench rejects

Bah. I took the punt and brought Parker back in cause he was scoring just as solid from the bench and he gives me a spud score.

I got him this round, his workrate is at Tongue levels since Origin, was hoping for Fitzgibbon scores at 100k less. Not quite this week, but 52 still solid.

Getting Burt and Webcke in both turned out to be great moves. Kearney's continued slide is really starting to hurt though.

Wow, another big chunk of scores in the 30s, and from players I'd not expect it from either. Tough round. I went all in with Hindy but every alternative I looked at seems to have scored better than him this round. Hopefully he rectifies that next round.
Buderus looks like he's in for another 30 or so here too.
Be curious to see how Kennedy and Johns score here. If R24 hadn't absolutely scrummaged my ballsack I'd have seriously considered holding Johns and Kennedy for R23 for their scores and let my reserves handle R24. Josh Lewis has scored better than half my squad so far anyway.
Anyway, looks like Kennedy probably scores poorly but Johns still on for a decent score, I'd think.

Yowser... Knights dudded hard there at the end. What another intense finish to a match from 2006.

Manly Warringah 16 (S. Bell, C. Hicks, M. Orford tries; M. Orford 2 goals) defeated Newcastle 14 (M. Gidley, A. Johns, J. Perry tries; A. Johns goal)
I'm not sure if that match sparked memories for anyone here, but Johns unloaded at Matt Cecchin after that non-call at the end of the game, and subsequently got a 2 game suspension for it
It was a massive drama at the time, he wrote a newspaper column saying he wouldn't apologise. Then went down to the judiciary and apologised.
The call was clearly wrong though, so I guess given the date of the game, it was possibly the first game to see the facebook comment "worst refs decision ever"

I was wrong with no one beating Webster's score, good lord!
