I think I’m going to have to try and guess which wingers score tries, but if they don’t, they could be on the bottom list and cost me points.

All this effort for a  maybe 5% chance I can beat a guy who is dominating without using spreadsheets in H2H on PODs in R26, assuming I win in R25 first.

I should probably just get back to work I guess...

You've got about 7 hours left and then the chance to make changes to your team ends forever. Now or never for tinkering.

Also traded in Gatis as a POD but turns out someone already has him and I can't be bothered changing my trades Laughing

Yes, I do already have him. Solid little scorer last week. Smile

Jake Webster, Dane Tilse, Craig Stapleton OUT

Justin Hodges, Dallas Johnson, Brett Morris IN

The Morris talk influenced me. I also wanted to see him put a a big score to hopefully get him going. I'll sit him on the pine for 25, but will play him round 26. Merritt back on the wing, surely he's dried up. I'll play him at FB though. Keeping Gallen for his one round and Johnson has been going great guns so looks the goods. Will give Turner one last spin in 26 too as he's been very solid this season since I brought him in. Don't need him 25 though.

    Round 25 team;

    Jarryd Hayne
    Nathan Merritt
    Justin Hodges
    Mark Gasnier
    Greg Inglis
    Matt Orford
    Darren Lockyer
    Shane Webcke
    Cameron Smith
    Corey Parker
    Craig Fitzgibbon
    Nathan Hindmarsh
    Paul Gallen
    Alan Tongue
    Dallas Johnson
    Todd Carney
    Sonny Bill Williams

    Simon Mannering
    Brett Morris
    Steve Turner
    Taniela Tuikai

    Round 26 team;

OK, I've just entered the teams in preparation for tonight (except for MS - have you sent any through yet?) and had a bit of a sneak peak at the H2H.

Without trying to give anything away, there are multiple matchups decided by less than 10 points, and 1 person manages to score over 1000 and lose.

    Exciting times.

Found MS's team, so we a relocked and loaded*

JustHerefortheBreakEvens needs to resend, after going OK for the whole comp he sent me his teams as an image for tonight and I can't cut and paste into my sheet.
(Doesn't matter if he misses lockout for the resend, I have his teams already, just want them in a better format)

I was lucky I started the season with some good PODs. Then I went a bit quiet as I started to learn about and figure spreadsheets. That gave MS his chance to compete. By the time I'd figured a bit about these sheets I tried to claw back into the overall comp but it was never going to happen. So come round 20 I thought lets start using what I've learned in the spreadsheets to smash these PODs comps. Very Happy
I actually used a spreadsheet for something other than this 2006 thing for the first time yesterday. I had to collate a list alphabetically.
So thanks milch for giving me a reason to finally play with spreadsheets.

Oh, and by the way robelgordo, you don't stand a chance. Razz

    Good luck!

I’ve made some bold POD moves. And cost myself at least 100 each round in overall hahaha

(I will probably lose the R25 match before the final anyway)

This is what I'm worried about! I tried to base my trades on opposition stalling over both rounds, but will be pointless if I fall at the first hurdle Laugh 3

I liked Dallas, but didn't grab him. Couldn't trust Bellamy not to give him an early shower R26 with Melbourne finals bound.

Ryan capable of great scores, but was always one that could pull out some really underwhelming 30's right when you didn't need it.

    Hodges is mint

Dallas run of recent scores pushed me towards him, worried about the Bellamy effect with Smith and Inglis also but worth the risk

I got Ryan because Clack had him and used the trade as a potential big score blocker. I did have to sell Gasnier to fund the 3 trades because i was well short, so that could really fuck me

Which way did you go mate?
