NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 30 - Roosters destroy the Broncos

I think a couple of players may get the ass.. certain players that were on their last notice after 58-0

The big concern is the only guys we can bring in are more young kids.

I cant be too critical of any of the young kids tonight to be honest, but its the "senior" players who continue to offer nothing

We are missing a lot of players with loads of talent, take out half the players from a teams best starting 13 and they will always struggle. obviously tonight's result is unacceptable but I will reserve proper judgment for a few more weeks when we get everyone back on board.

On the flip side, why is Darius Boyd still allowed to play rugby league?

Not too bad of a start to the round, 272 from Haas (C), Carrigan and Hopoate. Didn't play Paix but seems like he was a good pickup.

The no haas experiment has been rough the last 2 weeks. I regret not bringing him in this week. Need cook to have a good score to redeem me

Madness to sell drinkwater (he’s likely my 18th man this week) to allow me to turn Su’a and Horse into haas and cheapie next week? Don’t think the couch I’ve been hiding behind is big enough

Not to rub salt in your wounds, but compare the Broncos effort tonight with the dig the young Knights players put in last week.
To lose your C. & half and hooker by 7 mins, as well as missing your best strike weapon. If I was a Broncos supporter I'd be spewing at what your over-paid stars are dishing up. Milf, Darius & Oates should all be kicked to the curb.

Have to play 2 of Hopoate, Kerr and Rudolph and either Luai or Paix

Tonight shows why Haas is the premium, consistent Fantasy player. Always plays big minutes, always scores well, even when his team gets thumped. Don't think there is any other player you can make that statement about.

I’m 2/234 (Thank God for Captain Haas). Pretty happy, but then saw that I dropped 1000 places. There must be some big scores out there.

I still believe in Milford, the other two I don't. I haven't been a fan of the latter two for years. Darius because he's well past it and Oates makes some of the worst errors at the worst possible times. His strong runs out of defence have also seemed to have dissipated.

Surely I take Paix 42?
What would you do here - I have lomax at Ctr, Scrichton bench, and Luai emg. Leave as is? Or move Crichton to Ctr and laui bench and drop lomax?

Lots of Broncos players are popular. Across the top teams, the majority would have captained Haas and played Carrigan. If anyone close to you in points at the start of the round had played any other player that was playing, even if they scored crap, they would have jumped ahead of you. Don't think there were many commonly owned players that did great in that game, outside of Haas, Carrigan and many would have been played in NPR like Hopoate and Paix, so overall you should see it as a win, ahead of those that had pretty much any other Bronco out there, or Friend.

Lot easier for 3 or so young kids to get up when theyre surrounded by seasoned first graders who lead the way.

We have a team of kids there whove barely played any footy with spuds like boyd, oates, milford who are the only "senior" players showing no leadership at all. Croft gave seemingly no direction either

I am no excusing 59 nil tho. Losing by 20 or even 30 would be understandable. What we saw tonight was ridiculous

I think he is too scared to make these runs because of the linebreak:error ratio he had. I think he just isn’t in it either, there were a few times The ball would get too Boyd and he just runs it to the line or passes way to late. Plus Oates has wanted to be a 2RF for years now.

Broncos could have used Maccas defense out there tonight.

Oates wouldnt survive trying to play second row. Hes got nothing

i thought that tonight. Putting Milford next to Boyd isn't good for Milford whatsoever.

Do we see the Broncos making the 8? I think they can turn it around when they have the full team back around round 6 and start playing lesser teams.

Yeah for sure! TPJ, Glenn, Fifita, a fit Lodge, Staggs, Turpin all make a big difference in that side.

I think we can because with all those guys back we have enough individual brilliance to win games. Tbh weve scrapped through for the last few years on those types of tries

Will get punted in week 1 if the finals though
