Is it better to trade Mikaele/Papenhuyzen > Best this week or Capewell > Best next week?

Best will go up a fair bit in price. Capewell's price will hold steady. If you're set on Best then may as well grab him now.

I'd be surprised if he misses a week mate. He was desperate to play 2nd half but the medical staff advised him not to. That's a good sign it was just a minor strain. To put it into perspective, Mann's looked a lot worse and he's a real chance to lace up today

Can someone with a clue please give the run down on Talau and Averillo? I don't know anything about these players at all and know very little about the doggies or tigers.

If they're just duds and score 20 each week I'd rather get Best in this week and Latrell the next and cop the 10+ points extra per week for 300k more no dramas. I think running one of those centres is a bandaid solution with not a lot of upside considering their job security and scoring potential.

Does anyone have any info on these two?

Who cares what there scoring potential is I’d rather spend 200k on CTR and get an 800k HOK/2RF rather than get a 500k CTR and a 500k HOK/2RF

That's a great point! For my team specifically I won't be able to upgrade Capewell to anyone over ~644k next round if I go with a cow centre anyway, think I'm gonna go the risky play and have two gun centres unless anyone has a case for these players. Having Latrell + a cow centre without cover is a recipe for disaster for my team

I think I’m pivoting back to bringing in Fui. Reasons:

    1. Obviously with all these popular centres dropping off, the one who is meant to be temporary will end up holding his spot all season. That’s just science.
    2. Even at 3-4 weeks, he’s a decent cow. Should make 100-130k in 3 weeks. Just like J Hopoate... I didn’t get him, so stopped following, but I assume that’s working well.
    3. Why are people racing to get Best? You either think he’s a gun based on scoring 2 tries per game for 2 games, which is pretty crazy, or you plan to sell him later. I’d rather spend 110k less on someone I plan to sell later.
    4. An “elite” centre will drop below 500k at some point, so I don’t wanna right now with Mitchell, WHop, Staggs
    5. YOLO, season over anyway, Mad Monday etc.

Taupau and capewell?! Sorry mate that’s frigging rough

Last year 2 of my players knocked each other out in one tackle in the first 5 minutes of a game and didn’t come back. Mbye and someone. Devastating! That and an early captain injury can be crippling!

We haven’t had the panic from a captaincy candidate injury this year yet. Probably cus everyone is just captaining haas. Hope I have jinxed cook for myself..

I think B. Best will score well tonight. The Storm right edge defense has B. Lee & Vunivalu who aren't great defenders/tacklers & the Knights will be focusing their attack down that edge so Best should get plenty of ball. Also this is Ponga's preferred edge to attack & he'll be feeding Best.

Apparently media not permitted within 2 metres of players which Hannah Hollis breached when she interviewed Holmes during the game.

Watching the game at pub I commented I thought that was a bit odd considering the restrictions

So if Luke is going to the Broncos does this mean Turpin's injury is worse than reported. Paix will start & it makes sense to have a hooker on the bench to give him a rest because he's raw & needs looking after.

    B. Best could do a 2006 Steve Bell & keep scoring tries every game.
