My team is on 953 with no one left to come tonight I guess I'll take that with Capewell (3), Drinkwater (22), Turbo (35). I think Drinkwater and Capewell will be the ones to go this week. How long is Capewells injury? If 2 weeks I could hold for that; however, if they win a couple might not make it in over Martin.

Okay so missed much of a the weekend. Anything interest come from it (other than the postponed game and I.Luke signing)? Any players really announce themselves this weekend?

Under these rules, middle plodders are going to score well if they get minutes. (I put him higher than a plodder, tbf, he's a solid player who's 100% effort, doesn't miss tackles, but is never going to do anything with the ball. Twal seems to be the next generation of this.)

Much prefer Capewell over Martin on an edge! Martin is awful defending on edge, awful lateral defender. Better suited to middleStormTrooper96 wrote:Okay so missed much of a the weekend. I said it pre round 3 and I'll say it again, Capewell will be their 80 min right edge forward so long as he is fit.

I mean, I probably would rather have a player who scores his 60s through TBs because of the extra thrill it gives you watching a 15-point play rather than ticking up in ones. If they cost the same and score the same, I'd have a more enjoyable time with Taupau than Twal for example (other than moaning about his minutes every week).

Better suited to prop, very dynamic and tough runner. Much better than Sutton whose still a decent player although slightly different role.luckynumber8 wrote:Just watched Luke Thompson highlights. What an animal!

He is built incredibly well. If he's fit, might be worth a punt in 2 weeks if he's cheap enough

Agree mate and not just for fantasy purposes. Any confirmation on his injury?

Can we link him up with Xerri to speed his recovery?

Yeah, he's a different class to Sutton. I'll say again though that he won't have trained for the past three months other than in his back yard so he won't be seeing significant NRL minutes any time soon.

How long is his injury?
I found a study taken on the Knights and the average MCL tear injury return was only 19 days with the median return date being 14 days.

He definitely passes the eye test. I've only seen 1 game from him but think he could fall just behind the real life tier of JWH, Haas, Klemmer, Tauk. Similar quality to Taupau, AFB, Papalii which would be a fantastic signing

If you don't mind which team Peter Wynn has some decent deals every now and then. My mate picked up 3 adult jerseys for ~$120 during a sale last year

Surprised the money both Saifiti players have made this year. Def under the radar.
Any news on Lucy?
Fark moi ive burnt trades this year. Before this round, was pretty happy with the team, still siting outside the top 10k though.
Tapine keeps repaying the faith. If you had told me at start of season my 2rfs where Tapine, Horse, Lucy, JTB, Katoa and i wasn't unhappy about it, id be very surprised.
Obviously none are keepers (although likely will become keepers out of necessity, though good money factories.
Likley this week ill max trade again.
Capewell + Lucy (if its bad)
to
Cheapie and Mcinnes (i think i might be able to afford)

It sounded like it wasn't too bad, but expect him to miss a few games.
Also Lucy got injured, in case you missed it. Sprained his ankle, may be out next game. And Mann's ankle was swollen again after the game, but I'm sure a bit of ice can do wonders.

Cheers lads! Whats the conversion price to sterling? Trying to work out if cheaper getting a few and paying the shipping costs around £13.multiple.scoregasms wrote:

I love a deal very much doubt will be cheaper, have to not be picky because they don’t have the choice over here readily but got a few cracking ones lately £20 for Warriors kids jersey, £16 for some maroon coloured singlet. Also a while back got the boy 9 pairs of shorts which were £2!!! Each absolute daylight robbery and the lad lives in them!
