Think I am very happy to play Mann in the halves until he peaks. He has been a great pick however have picked all the wrong low end cows this year (read Broncos) pissing away the trades which is annoying

That peak is coming very soon though, need to have a bit of a plan there I think.

Avg 70.75 in 8 games with 6 tries.

Hoping for a combination of Eels being a better team and Teddy regression to the mean for that price to come down some Mad

Weren't they one of the worst teams in the comp all bar one of those games last season?

49 avg with 41 lowest score. Not sure how he's an urgent trade out

No, not urgent. I may have overstated there. Unless you think he's a keeper, which I don't, he'll be maxing his price in the next couple of weeks and be worthy of an upgrade, although if he keeps putting up current scores, his price should hold for a few weeks, so yeah not urgent. I still want to develop a plan for him though.

Yeah I'm hoping Eels have gotten their shit together finally, but it's mostly all of the same players. Matto instead of Ma'u about the only major difference.

Yeah they're a different team this year. Matterson and RCG good additions, Moses playing his best footy, Dylan has been outstanding, a real talent. They've been great defensively. From memory, they were without Nathan Brown a lost last year too. Hope I haven't put the mocker on them!

Good point about Dylan too. He was also out and we know Moses can have his patches. Dylan might be able to offset that in his down weeks and take the pressure off in general.

Even if you bring in two cows, bank bulk cash. Move Rudolf up into 14-17. Next week upgrade Drinkwater to Ponga/teddy

Thanks mate. Unfortunately I come up just short with Lucy and Suli. May even look at Lucy and Drinkwater. I thought about 2 cows but don't think Ted can wait. I would like to keep Friend too really.

Any point in ur season that comes to this is precisely when u need to say ok, new challenge, simply go nuts on trying to improve ur rank from here. Got me through many a season. Do it @Surmo13, don't cave in, that's soft !!

Totally agree! I won't be competing for the top but from where I am now I will be very happy with top 2500, that's my new goal

In seasons past in that situation I have also found solice in looking for POD's.. like out and out 1%ers who I can cheer on... Makes all the better when they grab a 60 pt game.. If they fail just take the L.

Mucks things up a bit with getting rid of Drinky. But if the $$s work, could you go Lucy Pap to Teddy and someone cheap. Next week, Suli and Drink to Ponga and someone? Probably a bit short id think.

    Friend
    Haas Twal
    Tolo Carrigan Katoa
    Moses Mann
    Mitchell Crichton
    Pappy Turbo Drinkwater

    Koro Grant Lucy Fog

    Rudolf Clark Luai Suli

20 trades and 28K.  Suli and Drinkwater is not enough.  Friend is the only option after ditching Suli.  Is that just stupid?

I guess if Carrigan was more than one week, him and Drinkwater could be a goer. I mean ideally you'd hold Carrigan. But ideally you'd hold Friend too, likely both keepers. I guess if you're in the MS camp Friend is a keeper, if you think Verrils will continue to impact him you could maybe justify the trade. Personally, I'd save the money, get RTS, which will leave more money to upgrade Mann to a proper keeper in a couple of weeks. You've got a relatively high number of trades to then consider later on selling Pappy or one of the other two WFBs to Teddy when his price eventually comes down.

Given the injuries to the rest of the pack, I guess he felt he had to play Haas big minutes on the restart of the comp. But its crazy to ask him to play so much game time week in week out.
If the broncos want to have a go at winning something (which is becoming less and less realistic at the moment) they are going to want to have him as fresh as possible in the back end of the comp

Carrigan is a clean skin, maybe he'll escape game time.

Just had a look at the ladder. Shocked to see us in the top 8. Certainly feel like a bottom 8 team at the moment.

I think unless something drastic happens 1-7 are pretty much locked in. Cows, Tigers, Rabbits, Warriors and Broncos will be fighting out the last spot.... I give it a neck and neck race between Cows and Rabbits. I think it'll be too late by the time Broncos get their full strength squad back and Rabbits are slowly kicking into gear

THOSE LOOKING AT SHIBA BE WEARY!!!

Of the decision to rest centre Enari Tuala in favour of Gehamat Shibasaki, O'Brien said there were several factors including Tuala's heavy workload over the previous three games and the chance for Shibasaki to play his former club.

"Enari has been leading the GPS across the board for every game he's played so there were two trains of thought," O'Brien said.

"We've got four centres going hard at it, it's a long season. I didn't want to be too cute but I don't want to get six weeks in then if something does happen we're bringing in a guy that hasn't played all year.

"It's a reward for effort but also reward for Enari who's been redlining for four weeks."

Thanks guys. Carrigan possibly suspended is a concern because I just figured I can go Lucy and Drinkwater to Hammer and Teddy with 1K spare. If Carrigan gets suspended, Twal should have DPP so he can cover second row and Rudolf gets a go. I don't mind it and helps my team balance also. If Clifford is out though I'm not sure if I should trade Drinky. My gut is saying to piss him off though.
