Joliffe starting for Lisone. They've both been good for the Titans this season.

The eye gouge would've been difficult to see for the ref or touchies and Latrell made no complaint to the ref but after vision of what COULD be an eye gouge has been seen on review, it is being looked at after the game. Egan likely to face a ban. No one one here is disputing any of this.

I shouldn't need to explain to you how little the two incidents have in common.

Egan is getting a week for the eye gouge.

Re Latrell what went in his favour was Fusitua was falling, if Fusitua wasn’t falling it hits him around the chest area, it was unavoidable contact for mine. It’s a contact sport, is he meant to just not try and stop the try? Thankfully the judiciary panel see it the same way I do. If RTS did the same, I’d have no issues with him not being cited.

Cheers bro. Just a failed middy to a risky pseudo-cow leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. Will have some noodles and see if that helps.

Yes. Do you not get that? If the only way he can try and stop the try is to hit a guy in the head - he's not supposed to do it. Jesus fucking Christ.

A week for an eye gouge is nowhere near long enough. It should be up there with the suspensions Burgess and Young got.

No excuse for contact with the eyes under any circumstances.

It doesn’t matter if they’re falling. Lee got penalised for high tackle on Vunivalu when he was nearly on the ground. It’s the responsibility of the defender to ensure they don’t endanger the attacker

Young and Burgess both were much more obvious eye gouges AND they had previous eye gouge offences which meant higher loading

He wasnt trying to hit him in the head, he was trying to tackle him, his arms were down below his shoulders, not head high, and Fusitua's head was about 3 feet off the ground.

I agree with it was a penalty and possible penalty try, I’m not disputing that at all.

    THIS. lol!
Love the banter, Rabbits fans talking up Latrell like he's the second-coming, on Thursday night, Broncos fans losing their shit over supposed poor ref calls going against their beloved Donkeys.
Now we just need JWH to do something stupid (again) and the Roosters crowd will rush to his defence.
    Keep it up lads.

Do you think one week is enough? It looked pretty obvious to me, even last night.

Exactly right mate. I feel like it’s being scrutinised more as it’s Latrell, if it was say I dunno Jarrod Croker would it be being as heavily scrutinised, the answer for me Matt is I don’t think so mate.
