[quote="Bethany_B"]How many players have you all got that will likely be part of your final 17?

I'm not even going to bother thinking about final 17

I've had to sell 3 keepers in the past 2 weeks due to injury (Capewell, Twal & Turbo) so I'm just going to keep trading until I run out

Bethany_B wrote:How many players have you all got that will likely be part of your final 17? I've been looking at my team to figure this out for me, and I have the following spots done. A * denotes a player that I will sell if I have a spare trade to do it but otherwise will keep to the end.

    HOK: Koroisau
    FRF: Haas, Fotuaika
    2RF: Yeo, Arrow*
    HLF: Croft*, Flanagan
    CTR: Lomax, Crichton*
    WFB: Ponga, Teddy
    INT: Grant, Carrigan* Katoa*
    EMG: Mann*, Wiliame*, Averillo*

Basically, I only really need to use trades on the following spots.

3rd 2RF: Lolo most likely, but if I can't afford him then Matterson or Fifita will be the guy I go for

3rd WFB: With Turbo going down that rules him out for this spot, it'll probably just be a rotation of the cheapies I have, especially if Wiliame stays as a red dot. If I can get a WFB on the rise like To'o was last year, then that's who goes here.

HOK: I do intend on keeping Koro and Grant to the end if they both stay fit and firing, but I will need one more, and CS9 is probably the one I want. Odds are I can get only one of CS9/Cook/Mcinnes.

EMG: I'll be looking at a FRF or 2RF cashout option for one of the EMG spots, probably 2RF if I either hold Carrigan or sell him to an FRF (potentially Taupau if he gets cheap enough)

I did a similar analysis a few weeks ago and have since lost Capewell and Turbo. I'm not tempting fate with calling anyone a keeper

If Graham holds the Ctr roll I may grab him as a POD once he gets DPP.

Those that are trading out Twal, are you planning to trade him back in again later? He is just such a solid performer every week, I would rather hold him for a month, than waste 2 trades on him. FRF/2RF is gold too for pack flexibility.

    Looking at:
    Kennedy > Ponga
    Rudolf > Greg L
    $0 remaining

Greg L may or may not hold his spot, but the other centers and wings are all journeymen, shouldn't be that hard to displace if he plays as well as he is capable of. Tackle busting machine, so scores should be great if he does hold his spot, and hopefully a lack of JS scares others off. Its the kind of move I am willing to make to try to jump ranks, now that a key POD in Twal is out.

Trading out Rudolf maybe 2-3 weeks early, but gets Ponga in and have Kerr fulfilling that same role in my reserves, who hopefully gets more minutes with Graham gone.

Grahams replacement (Probably someone like Blake Lawrie) will just walk straight into his minutes role anyways... They aren't going to replace him with a back.. Itll just be a straight swap

I'm holding Twal in RDT and Supercoach where you have a 25 man squad. Don't think you can hold that much value for that long with shortened season and limited squad

I was originally thinking of keeping him but there will be underpriced FRFs available soon (Taupau), Tevaga will be fit soon also for 2RF who is underpriced based on starting lock average last year

And I'm expecting to lose 2 or 3 of these guys to injury at some point, and with the exception of WFB, there's plenty of good replacements.

    Can go

    Turbo > Ponga
    Luai > Niu

    8K leftover....

I think this is where I have to go otherwise HTF/Farnworth are my last WFB

Niu can go into CTR for Crichton. I am more confident Niu at FB vs Titans can outscore Crichton at Ctr vs Souths.

Its more the guy getting the Lawrie role that should benefit Kerr. Kerr played 25 minutes a couple of weeks ago, should get back to normal with someone like Jackson Ford coming in with limited minutes

I love Tevaga and he's definitely under priced but it would be a bold coach who trades him in this year given his injury history. You'd want to make sure you had good cover or a couple of spare trades just for him.

At least Tevaga or Fifita are a straight single trade swap when available and we can see the role they have, can hold a week or 2 to assess.

I plan to watch him a week and make sure he has the right role, but he probably a trade in for me

    I don't mind it.

Turbo is a trade, Luai is not urgent but he has peaked.

Ponga is top tier WFB, and Niu is cheap and playing FB with a good run of fixtures. Not without risk, but looks solid to me.

I just realised Niu is a CTR not WFB. That makes him a lot more appealing to me.

Depending how long he holds the spot will be DPP come R12???

I like my Turbo > Ponga and Luai > Niu trade

Luai still got a little bit of cash to make and possibly more if he gets a big game but Niu is basement price fullback going in for someone who is "on the outter" and no longer seen as first option FB, and has some decent wraps on him. He also looked like he wanted to get busy in the limited minutes he has played. Plus should get DPP later down the track if he stays...

I am hoping he is one of those cows that comes out of the gates firing and while everyone is fixing fires he goes unnoticed and has one of those first year flukey fantasy seasons.

Surely the odds are 0 that he gets DPP added this week if named at FB? He would be being named under merrit and not by injury.

Panthers playing well, and without the in-house drama he's a good bet for a 40-45 average. Roughly priced around there already, but I rate him as the consistent type. After round 10, he only scored under 30, 3 times, over 50, 5x.

*I still believe the rumours and team hate affected him to start 2019. No longer an issue
