Regardless of position, how many other guys under $700k have a 55 average? Makes a good back up to 2 of the big 3 halves, that you are able to play in your 14-17 each week. 3 scores in 60s since the restart in a team that is demolishing even other decent teams. For value in 14-17, not sure there is much better out there if you already have guys like Mofo at the same price point.

Its a 20 point a week upgrade on Papy for $160k.

Yeah. The main reason I'm looking at Flanno is 2 things.

    * He gets so many kick metres, and gets through plenty of tackles

    * He plays for the best team in the comp. This means that he's kicking more goals, and he'll score more tries than your average half because he's always backing up his teammates. That's how he got the tries he's got so far.

For $100-150k less than Cleary and DCE, I think he can average within 5 points of them, and if I can spare a trade to sell Croft later, I'd be running Flanno as my 2nd half with Mann in the 14-17

Should I cash Isaako out. Which means I play 16 this week and hopefully bring Ponga in next week.

Turn Isaako to Edwards/RTS/Nofo and settle?

Isaako to Nofo if you can afford it, Nofo is probably the 3rd best WFB with Turbo out, he just breaks tackles for fun.

I feel like I'm plugging holes everywhere in my team and steering away from any long term planning.

I could trade Katoa to S'Mat or I could trade Su'A. Does Katoa miss more than one week because he'll make more money but the points from Su'A would be useful considering I'd be playing with 16 this week if I trade Su'A.

    I don't think I'll get a solid 17 in the end.

HUGE call putting Flanno 5 points behind Cleary, Moses, DCE. Will need to continue scoring tries to get near them long term, KM around 100-150 below as a base. Huge tackle numbers are likely unsustainable if they comtinue he will have games missing more, he’s not the biggest. I reckon will go around 46-50 over season

Idk, I don't see why he'd get significantly less kick metres than he has in the last 2 weeks, and even if you take the tries off him, his average since the resumption is 55.7 (same as his season average, funnily enough). It's no surprise that as the Roosters team has gotten better after the resumption, so has he.

I can definitely see him averaging at least low 50s, if not holding his current average of 55. I reckon at the very least he can average within 5 of DCE (who doesn't kick goals) and Moses (who shares a lot of the kicking with DBrown, whereas Flanno does most of it for the Chooks).

In addition to that, I can't actually afford more than 738k for the trade if I sell Papy so even if I wanted a genuine gun half, I can't actually afford one. Flanno is by far the best of the next tier down of halves (e.g. Hunt, Brooks, Pearce)

I think he’s a good addition for his price range and potential just not sure he gets near the big dogs

Do we see Blake Lawrie getting better minutes now with James Graham gone?

Or is Ben Hunt playing 60mins off the bench and McInnes playing the 80mins mean we should expect Lawrie will only keep getting 40mins?

Or thoughts on trading Luai out to Lachlan Croker which allows me to go Katoa to Murray?

Croker is a deadset dud. Highest score as a starting 5/8 is 41 and he needed 2 tries to do it. 31 on the weekend in 77 minutes with 8 demerit points is an okay score but historically it's got bad idea written all over it.

Reminder that if you give up now you're a coward. I am fielding 15 this week (14 if Teddy is rested) and I'm not giving up. Going to try and get from where ever the fuck I end up to top 1k by seasons end.

The answer is we don’t really know until the game or a few rounds get played. Merrin just as likely to take extras

Have had since day 1 one of my better acquisitions. KM lowest first game (Kearys highest) since then  has kicked over 300m 4 of 5 (except against Broncos but he got 9 goal kicks instead ).

Watching him feel likes hes way more comfortable now running the team around and being able to bank around 8-10 pts from goals recently helps. Maybe not 5 pts within cleary who has shown he has the 100 in him but definately a good shout still.

Personally 3 weeks ago he was my planned stepping stone back to Tolo which may stil be the case if the 60s drp back to 50s but happy having him rolling out 60s while he can

edit: from memory watching a few games Keary takes majority of attacking goal line kicks within 10m or so of line Flano does the majority of the rest

Would you go Luai > Talau if it allowed me to turn Turbo into JTurbo instead?

Would rather get rid of Paix but Talau is the only cow I’m interested in, just think he has definitely got some money in him

Me neither but if I can keep Katoa and sell Clark and Paix to get SMat do I just look at Niu as a cash out and hope for the best or do I sell Katoa and get Averillo+Pearce?

I mean I could go Paix and Turbo to Niu and JTurbo.

I’m happy with it if I think of Niu as a pure cash out, but I feel like it’s too early for that
