As an owner, he should be suspended for a number of weeks. These guys do not realise how serious this is at all and there needs to be an example made.

As a Best and Cleary owner, I think Cleary should've been the one made an example of.

Pretty fucked up if they suspended Best for multiple weeks after visiting his parents compared to Cleary's actions only resulting in 2 weeks. Set a pretty piss-weak precedent there.

Is anyone with 17 players considering holding trades just because they can field 17? Don't like any cows. Was looking at Avo but now I'm not sure. Niu can wait a week.

I have 17 that can take the field but thought I would pull two trades anyways to allow Turbo > Ponga.

We can see from the AFL (and Victoria in general) that there is a real risk of shit coming back and putting everything in jeopardy.

But its currently legal to visit your parents, so this is presumably just a violation of the rules around the NRL bubble, as opposed to government imposed restrictions.

and those rules have been put in place to protect the competition. Legal or otherwise I still think it should be treated seriously.

In saying that, one week is probably the most they could give him anyway given Clearly only got two weeks.

Talau made the team on merit 2 weeks ago. But if they both have dodgy hammies it might just be a case of whoever is fit going forward

Odds of Murchie or Rudolf getting DPP? 0, or even less?

They actually have to play decent minutes there to be considered, amirite?

Rudolf is possible. He was named there on merit.
Murchie unlikely - he is named there due to injury.

Rudolf played one game at lock... pretty sure every other game he has come on as a prop

Can’t remember who mentioned it and am too lazy to go back and quote it but Meaney taking GKs of Averillo shouldn’t have too much of an impact as he scored 36 in 70 minutes against the roosters With no kicking and 42 without the GKs against the sharks

With Isaako on the bench does Farnworth take GK duties?

How far is Adam Elliot flying under the radar? Has a pretty decent base, loves a missed tackle but.

I’ll be avoiding Averillo now too much doubt re job security.

I’ve only got 2 second rowers with Katoa out and only 41k spare mate. It is looking like Katoa to RFM for me. He’s gonna average mid to high 40’s RFM but oh well he will have to do.
