I would still sell Turbo and Katoa, and get Ponga, but now you can choose your cheapie of choice. You might prefer to go Talau and get Nui next week if he goes well.

Yeah I would definitely have my pick of the cheapies this week but I am kind of sold on Niu. Had wraps on him before the season as a definite starter by seasons end, debut game against Titans, I like it.

Assuming everything goes to plan (funny, right? I Know) this week then next week's trade will be Rudolf and Wiliame to Pearce and Niu (if he goes OK).

Then it'll be Musgrove to a cheapie and upgrade Katoa/Leilua/whoever gets injured next.

Theoretically I will have nine trades left and I am honestly going to sit on that for the season and trade as I need to rather than trying to upgrade anymore. Maybe one more downgrade/upgrade a few rounds later if it makes sense.

Surely Staggs back in the next week or 2 drops Herbie

Fair play mate, I'll be lucky get a Fiifta type player as my 17th let alone my 18th man.

Option 1: Friend + Isaako -> Ponga & Cheapie (Farnworth)

Biggest issue I have with this trade is that I lose a borderline keeper in Friend. The biggest positive being I have $197k left over to go towards my HLFs which need quite a bit of attention. This does mean if Tedesco is ruled out I only play 16 this week.

    Option 2: Isaako + Paix -> Nofo & Nuffie (Niu) -

The biggest negative this week, is if I bring in Nofoaluma, I won't look to get Ponga this year most likely as I will have Tedesco, Nofo, and Pap with my HLFs needing to be adressed. It also leaves me with a measly $10k left This gives me $10k change, but means even if Tedesco doesn't play i have 17 this week. While also keeping Friend in my squad as well.

    Really appreciate thoughts.

I like option 2 with RTS instead of Nofo. Leaves you with a heap of cash left over, a good enough WFB line with Teddy, Papy, RTS and coverage this week

I actually really like this and I am I crazy considering going Lomax for DPP status and flexibility with L. Mitchell as well instead of RTS

Herbie owner but I'm not sure if he gets a wing spot over Coates once Staggs is back. I got him last week but was thinking he'd only play 3-4 weeks. Staggs back earlier than expected is a kick in the nuts. With him and Paix, I'm not trading in Niu until it's concrete that the spot is his. Broncos cows are shit.

Edit: Could also say fuck it get Lomax and pencil him in as cover and a long term 17th/18th man instead of Nofo
Not a fan of missing Ponga in final team. Ponga vs Pap has been a 30 point gap this season. Need to try to find a way to get him in.

Yeah and that is the problem, if I don't get Ponga this week whoever I trade in (RTS/Lomax/Nofo) is a stop-gap and not even necessarily better than Pap, and would require trading one of them for Ponga longterm.

Murchie could be a cash out option/2RF gap filler, starting this week, 302K...

got 41 in 67 last week replacing Katoa, week before seems he for 20 in 60 mins vs cowboys, but subbed on for JTB? did he get moved mid game? only 16 tackles in 60 minutes, must not have been playing in the middle right?

Is ~3 weeks long enough to see any real price rises from him? I'm planning to go Turbo -> Jtrbo. Other trade could be Katoa -> Murchie to give me 2RF coverage in my EMG, and a springboard to make some quick cash?

EDIT: hes FRF not 2RF my bad

My only issue with trading Katoa is that he is meant to be an upgrade, not a cashout, especially when I am trading Turbo and Katoa in the one week >.<

Its been a funny year, havent seen the normal undervalued short term options appearing like Maloney (without Cleary) or Rein (for 80 minutes after playing off the bench). All guns and cows this season and most of the cows are turning out to be less than hoped for.

My 18th man will most likely be a boom bust winger like Josh Addo Carr or :Rapana:

Just pondering out loud, an alternative to say Averillo. Forgot about Tevaga coming back, but if he goes 40/40/20 can make approx 100k and should still have a bench role going forward with a bunch of our pack on long term injuries (Afoa, Ah Mau etc)

edit: saw your edit, yes he is FRF - that is probably not too helpful then to plug the 2RF gaps

This is why I am happy finishing the year with the likes of Ponga, Teddy, Drink/Pap at WFB.

Also thinking about just leaving Lomax/Cheapie at CTR all year and just worrying about beefing up my HOK and FRF, (2RF already stacked).
