Nah my last round dropped me a fair way playing 16 for <800. Now sitting 2700th.
Trying to play the long game with a weaker starting to team but holding more trades. I have used almost the maximum trades so far and still have a reasonably weak time Sad

I am going to try and only use four trades over the next three weeks and then sit on that team. Won't be the most exciting year but I might make up some ranks towards the back end.

Such a boring way to play, which is a specialty of mine most years

Bloody 1K short on Horse and Moses to Mariner and Cleary. Might have to give Butcher a go if he starts, or settle for Giraffe Neck.

This makes sense however it is another mid-season rule change which is the result of the poorly thought out mid-season rule change.
Really opens a can of worms now that they can just make rule changes whenever they feel like it.

I'd guess Sutton. Not bad as a short term option but will be a definitely trade out when Tapine/Bateman/Horsburgh return

on the other extreme, you have me, someone who is always itching to go POD chasing, and sometimes it works out brilliantly (Wighton and Papalii last year, getting Fotu early this year), sometimes it fails (Hughes this year)

Given what's happening with the AFL fixtures, is anyone factoring in team make up of their squad?
ie; trying to not have too many players from one team in case that teams loses a fixture one week?

I'm guessing a) most people haven't even considered it and b) once considered just gotta hope you're lucky rather than trying to factor it in.

I have 4 Knights and 4 Panthers. No Storm, Sea Eagles, bunnies, Eels, Warriors or Raiders. Just the way its worked out for me.

Supposed to get an announcement from the VIC premier today around what restrictions if any they'll be changing and want to know if I'll be locked in my suburb or not. The waiting is killing me here!

I try to avoid playing what ifs knowing that most will be in the same boat with popular fantasy players missing time. Just trying to avoid multiple red dots in case I need cover

I was on an absolute POD roll last year. Bought Moses in Round 3. Picked up Manu Ma'u at 1% ownership and got David Fifita two weeks before he got 100.

This year I bought Euan Aitken when he started at Centre lol. I was due a dud I guess. He looked good against the Roosters though, could do with more ball his way.

Just had a look at my team, I have:

    4 Panthers

    3 Broncos

2 Tigers, Knights, Titans, Roosters, Dragons

    1 Storm, Sharks, Cowboys, Bulldogs

0 Warriors, Sea Eagles, Raiders, Eels, Rabbitohs

He might've been overpriced when you got him but he's potentially a set-and-forget centre at this point. Averaging 30+ since starting which is a better than a lot of other trades people have made.

Buying Dragons outside backs is generally a bad idea but kudos for going for it Very Happy

I missed out on Moses, Ma'u and Fifita last year, my main gets were Wighton in round 5 last year and Papalii in round 19, when both were cheap and nobody owned them. To cap it off, the only reason I even bought Papalii is that A Fifita was suspended a week and I had no backup FRFs, so I upgraded Fainu early to get Papalii in, since I couldn't afford the top tier props. If Andrew Fifita wasn't such a cat, I might have not got Papalii

Just having a look at ownership stats in my team and the following are my <5% owned PODs:

    McCullough @ 2.5% - 49 from 2 games since I brought him in
    Fotuaika @ 4.4% (this one is a real surprise) - 58avg from 3 games
RFM @ 1.4% - 55 in one game for me

So I'm picking good PODs at least!

I do recall your love affair with Wighton last year, bloody good get. Fair play.
