Would you play Luai with DCE in your HLF if it meant bringing in Teddy and grabbing Moses back later on?

Looking at this currently, not sure I’ve got the cash generation down the line unless Niu sticks and HTF starts pumping out some big ones. Moses next target on return, really need Stinky to produce and Averillo and Lee to come back into respective sides but I’m wary about both
Leilua - Butcher
Rudolph - Niu
Katoa - Tedesco
Koro
Haas, Fotuaika
Taumalolo, JTurbo, Carrigan
Cleary, Drinkwater
Talau, Niu
Ponga, Papy, Tedesco
McInnes, Grant, Brailey, Butcher
Lee, HTF, Averillo, Williame
Should I look at trying to generate more cash and pray Teddy drops cash in next 2/3 weeks

Bring in DCE (Have Croft/Mann) or Fotuaika (Have Haas/Carrigan) or anyone else under $750k, or just save the two trades as there isn't a decent rookie (Have Niu)

Is it better to trade drinkwater to ponga or JTB to tedesco

Technically I could get McInnes instead but probably makes more sense to bring in Lolo right? Would leave my 2RF stacked with Lolo Yeo and Matterson

I can get Niu Cleary Cook and *drumroll* Milf. Is it too crazy taking punt on Milf next 2 fixtures bottomed out practically at 500k?

Trading him out would give so many options to cover other spots but it’s seems like a luxury.
I would think he would score better with Verrils out?
Should play 80 more often now. Definitely a hold. Any trade out of him is sideways/backwards.

I didn't look at my options until after the 4 trade news. However I considered holding Moses as I could get DCE in with 2 trades but then I realised I may as well use at worst 1 more trade for a straight swap of Moses to Flanagan, using a 4th opens up even more options.

Moses - Cleary
Drinky - Teddy
Katoa - Butcher
Rudolf - Hetherington
Pretty happy with my team. Tbh I dont think if even made to the end of a season with as good a team as I've got now. Mostly cos I dont know what I'm doing.

he is bloody cheap and we know he has it in him. If he pumps out a 50+, he will suddenly be on everyones watch list.Loomer wrote:I can get Niu Cleary Cook and *drumroll* Milf. Is it too crazy taking punt on Milf next 2 fixtures bottomed out practically at 500k?

I like the trades; provides points and some cash upside. Teddy still has a fairly low BE; about his floor I would guess. Every change he goes above that and still ends up more expensive if your not wanting to wait for another 5-6 weeks.
Thoughts on Young vs Butcher, you're not worried about Liu taking the starting lock spot at the Roosters when hes healthy?

At the moment, looking at
Paix -> Niu
Katoa -> Talau
Drinkwater -> Cleary
Leilua -> Young
13 trades, 155K ITB
Leaves me with
Koro
Hass JTB
Lolo Jurbo Young
Cleary Fogarty
Lomax Talau
Teddy Pap Mitchell
Friend Grant Carrigan Luai
HTF Niu Moses Wiliame
If I get DCE instead of Cleary, I leave enough in the bank to have a look at Young & Butcher this week, see who looks the better option, and then go JTB + Leilua -> Kapow + Young/Butcher next week. Or I continue to hold Leilua, and that extra 80K between DCE and Cleary gives me an easier path to Ponga...
Any thoughts?

My likely trades will be
Paix - Niu
Kennedy - Talau
Horse - Young
JTB - Ponga.
No backup FRF is a worry but at least I've got some warm bodies on the bench.
McInnes
Haas, Carrigan
Su'a, Matterson, Young
Cleary, JMK
Talau, Crichton
Teddy, Drinkwater, Ponga
Cook, Koro, Grant, Fogarty
Katoa, Niu, HTF, Averillo

I'm finding it hard to split the top FRFs.
Excluding Haas, which FRF does everyone think will score the most points between now and the end of the season?
Edit: I'm not concerned about player prices or BEs, purely total points between now and the end of the season.

Young is the other I considered over Butcher. Liu been coming off bench spelling JWH pretty rigidly so I expect to see the same on return and Butcher just playing the Radley lock role. Better PPM in the middle and more chance of becoming a keeper with 50+ scores. Both highly likely need to become trade outs but Butcher has the higher upside for mine.Empyreal wrote:

If anything with the injuries he's a trade IN
