Hahaha, no point in worrying about anything in L2, even if I finish dead last as Bren does in L1, I can't be demoted... There's no such thing as L3! Lol.

Re: Ultimate Footy
My plan is to be an absolute arse the whole season when it comes to trades. Playin' hardball! If Welshy has a chance to finish first then I'm gonna give Merrin, Fifita and Macca to the guy in second just so he loses!

Mate I think thats a bit too far. Some friendly banter is okay but trading like that just destroys the game for all involved.Mearcats wrote:My plan is to be an absolute arse the whole season when it comes to trades. Playin' hardball! It is cutthroat in League 2 mate. I do not think you could handle the pressure!

Sauce Reed & Medical Ward in my oppinion has drafted very well and sorry KFP but you are my early favourite for the spoon
I have to say I agree with your opinion a lot. Although if I had to trade teams with someone I would probably go Milchcow although it is very close between Milch's and Sauce's teams. Although I wouldn't do that as I love the look of my own side, and I have a solid halves pairing.
Oh and yeah Bren's and SI's teams look shithouse..

Won't post the match-up write ups until everyone has adjusted their starting teams, some guys have their guns sitting on the bench etc

Like Milch I had Woods sat in my NPR spot, a few guys have already adjusted their line-ups to what was set right after the draft

Might as well post them. No one will leave their guns sitting on the bench come round 1

Re: Ultimate Footy
League 2 kicks off its Inaugural FF season with some cracking opening round match-ups
Great Odens Ravens (Welshy) v The Bagels (Franko)
The tournament’s top 2 try scorers in Rona (BAG) and Radradra (GOR) face off in this tasty R1 fixture, although missing big George The Bagels have plenty in reserve with an almighty pack featuring the returning slammin’ Sam and Paul Gallen accompanied by tackling machine Nathan Peats, The Bagels will hope for a big game of Milf in the halves to offset the potentially frightening duo of Ben Hunt and SJ who are strapping up for the Ravens, who also have the uber talented Josh Dugan and workhorse prop Aaron Woods.
The Butchers (User Name) v The Projectiles (Scouter)
The Butchers and the Projectiles face off in Game 2 of round one in another tight affair. The Butchers boast 2 of the games top props in fiery James Graham and NQ stalwart ball Matt Scott, DCE is manning the halfs who will have the wrecking ball Marty KAPOW running of his shoulder, rounded off with Macca who has a tough personal matchup with the Projectiles star hooker James Segeyaro, Seg will be looking to rack up the fantasy points alongside star halves pairing Adam Reynolds and Aiden Sezer, rounding out the Projectiles Wade Graham will look to push into the next level of fantasy stardom whilst Michael Gordon strives to do the same in his new team colours!
The Bandwagon (RYNO) v Rhinoos (Rhinoceroo)
There will be sore bodies as the two Rhinos square off in Game 3. Two sets of ultra backs will come up against one another as the Bandwagon’s trio of James Tedesco, James Roberts and Michael Jennings fire up against Greg Inglis and the tournaments’ top metre eater and resident superstar RTS for the Rhinos in what looks to be a mouth-watering spectacle. Aided in the pack by fantasy superstars CP13 and Fensom The Bandwagon look set. A few injuries have aided The Bandwagons chances with Moylan and Farah succumbing to injury for the Rhinoos but with JT steering the ship and Granvilles penchant for the explosiveness little will be lost.
Downtown Poundtown (Beast From The Big East) v Mearcats (Mearcats)
The final game of the weekend see’s Downtown Poundtown take on the Mearcats, with Fantasy god Cameron Smith falling all the way into DP lap in 4th he will be determined to prove he is still the games best in both forms of the game, aided by Captain fantastic Simon Mannering and workhorse prop Tolman, DP have a fierce pack who will hope Billy Slater and Brett Morris return R1 to back the packs efforts. Led by TB king Andew Fifita and the Panthers new superstar Trent Merrin, the Mearcats will hope look to impose their will from the get go, backed by Jake Friend who will look to upstage his QLD rake rival. The Mearcats will be hoping Josh Mansour has a return to form in a potent backline also featuring the Whizz kid Valentine Holmes
