Take out his tries and first score where he was given a heap of TBs for not breaking tackles and Talau might average 20. Sure he’ll get tries, but there will be some horrible scores when he doesn’t. And I own him.

Teddy would average mid 20s if this happened
But it doesn't, if you slap a player away it's a TB and Talau should have a few TBs a game just from kick returns

Surely the named Titans 17 is a pisstake and there will be several changes

Which do you think? I can get Angus, leaves me with Sweet FA in the bank, or go DPP with JFH and save 100K?

These weren’t even Teddy TB’s!
Point is his 39 without a try is definitely on the high side.

The list of off contract hookers includes Mahoney, friend and mccoulough who would all be amazing for the club. However, the list off off contract halves is this:
Jack Cogger, Cade Cust, Rhys Davies, Drew Hutchison, Nicho Hynes, Ryley Jacks, Cooper Johns, Mason Lino, Luke Metcalf, Sean O'Sullivan, Tyrone Roberts, Braydon Trindall, Brandon Wakeham, Dean Blore, Kieran Foran, Matt Frawley, Blake Green, Adam Keighran, Lachlan Lam, Benji Marshall, Tyrone May, Nathaniel Roache, Tristan Sailor, Jaeman Salmon, Will Smith, Connor Watson.
The only real talent that is proven is Marshall, Foran, Watson and Green. Marshall doesn’t have much longer in his career, Foran is too injury prone for a team lacking consistency, Watson just isn’t the type of guy we need at halfback but could be good for a hooker, and green would probably be the pick of the lot but at 33 is getting old.
So a good hooker from the list above (plus B Smith if C smith plays on) and some additional strike power in the backs to go along with the signings in the forwards (Tino signed and Ese’es And Asiata looking likely) and then some young kids that are floating around.
And then as soon as November rolls around they should be going all out on Keary and Flanagan who are both off contract at the end of next year. At the end of next year Ash Taylor is also off contract so hopefully we can sign him on a smaller deal to partner Flanagan or keary

High 30s for a CTR is good. CTR is a shit position (worse this year, given how many god damn trades I've used on the position)
If I can get 60-70 between my CTRs it's a good week

Sooooo Papy and Leilua to Talau and Crichton isn’t a bad idea then? Or just go super tight arse with MCK so I can also gauge what happens with Averillo?

If Niu and Talau make it to R12 they should be DPP

I get a feeling Benji is gonna start at 6 this week though to help with your attack.Jumping Marlin wrote:
Tiges gonna smash the Rabbits this week.
Since Benji was dropped, fourth best defence in the league, very very similar to the Storm & Roosters.
No up the Bunnies Glory Glory
I will be in full voice at BankWest come Friday night.

I think you're in dreamland if you reckon the Titans could sign BSmith or Keary, two players that every single club would want if there was an opportunity.
Foran if fit would be a good shout... an experienced half who can call all the plays. Green would be an off-brand version of that. Think you need to ditch Taylor anyway, too much money and too much work. Maybe Jimmy Maloney would be an option if he has any legs left. You need experience, and he's a big upgrade on Tyrone Roberts.

Are Broncos fans thinking it’s finally a win this week?
Trying to decide whether I tip Brisbane again or pick the Dogs.

Angus is a great pickup mate I'm considering as well.
Some will argue you can get better value eg Murray Jurbo JFH Tevaga but the Chooks have a great draw coming up and Angus has more potential to hit a ton than any of the others.

What’s the deal with Jolliffe? Will he be around for a while Titans fans?
I can do Mann/Leilua > Crichton/Jolliffe and will play Luai until I can upgrade him in a few weeks

Croft to Field wouldn't be crazy would it?
Not sure how Croft is still there or if i should persevere. ARey looks good too.

Yeah me too. I'm hoping there's some sort of update tomorrow on how the Donkeys will line up.

I don’t love it, I think the upgrade might be canceled out by the downgrade.

Mann > Field
Leilua > Crichton
Koro
Haas, Mofo
Crichton, Jurbo, Murray
DCE, Paix
Crichton, Talau
Teddy, Ponga, Pappy
Grant, Robson, Carrigan, Butcher
Luai, Field, HTF, Niu
9 trades remaining and 116k. Plan would be to upgrade Luai in a few weeks time when Moses returns using the bank and a downgrade of a cow probably Field after he’s made 100k.
Thoughts?

This year without Origin cashouts and a lack of good cows, value buys and spare cash may be better than chasing the top guns.
Depends on your overall team balance though.
