NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 57 - Ikuvalu Highlight Reel

Stats Change
A new try outcome has been included to capture tackles previously tagged as ‘missed’ tackles, even though the effort from the player was good and they were not at fault in their execution.

Key signifiers of this tackle type:
- Try is scored by the try scorer
- Tackle is attempted by tackler at a time where there is little to no chance of the try being stopped
- Tackler has not shown obviously poor execution

Key points regarding fantasy scoring:
- The tackler will not be attributed with a missed tackle
- The ball carrier will not receive a tackle break to match the missed tackle that has disappeared
- Any other missed tackles on the same ball carry will still be collected as such, with the tackle breaks to match

sir. Have you heard anything about Cameron McInnes being ruled out for the dragons ?

I'm hoping there's no merit to this because I have to trade him in right now...

The only change that I recall regarding TBs was if you are tackling a player that was guaranteed to score a try, you don't get a missed tackle for it and they don't get a tackle break for the try unless you actually bumped them off.

And they totally ignore their own rule from what I’ve seen. Or at least apply it inconsistently.

Yep Hess didn’t get any tackle breaks for his barge over on Thur night.

Fantasy definition of TB is definitely not what they are applying in most cases.

I reckon Moses comes back for the Tigers game. Not long enough for Field in.

They also apply missed tackles when no attempt was made to tackle. Yesterday Sironen was told he
was offside by the ref, so he put his hands up and was run into by the guy with the ball, made no attempt to tackle him and was given a missed tackle, just a joke.

If we ever do our own comp, please use the SC stats not the fantasy ones, which are a joke.

fuck sake, wouldve appreciated the Moses news thursday arv, was planning to bring in Teddy while I waited for his price drop, then moved onto Pearce while he was still cheap when his recovery time was supposedly extended, now that he's back on track, I guess I'm having a no-trade week.
