Still conflicted about trading out Best. A DPP player in a seriously shite position who can go boom or bust is a lot better option than most. However it's so much money tied up in a CTR when there's barely any good cows to free up big funds for.

I had planned to trade him to DCE and my other option for that trade is Mann so I can still make a decision up until 4 tomorrow.

    Agree with this

I'd move out peaked/peaking cows like Mann, Rudolf, JTB(too late), Katoa etc before moving on Best. But if I owned Best I'd be very tempted by Croker +150k for what should be similar scores the rest of the way

I'm not trading him (yet), but if you're gonna take a punt on downgrading a high priced semi-gun, it might aswell be a CTR. Decent chance of getting equivalent or even better scores for cheaper and allow a proven gun upgrade to come in elsewhere.

Mann has a lower BE than Best and better scores the past few weeks. If you're trading one to a gun like DCE you will win either way. I'm trading Best to McInnes this week so that should definitely be a win.

I'm amazed that SMat ownership dropped from 11% to 7% this week, for what is expected to be a 1 week absence. Has an HIA history, but if he is OK from next week, is the best CTR available.

This is the key point for me. Bloke with a history of reoccurring HIA could easily miss a few. If I owned him I would be holding while everyone is playing spuds anyway, but I see the appeal in trading him out

Don't know about Smat going forward, I was so close to bringing him in a few weeks ago, glad I didn't.

I put SMat on my never again list a couple of years ago and stick to it pretty rigidly.

Also includes guys like NBrown, Dugan, Milford, THarris, Cartwright, ARey, Guth.. Some others I've never owned and never will like Aubs.

It's hard to restrain yourself to get someone like Smat when they are scoring so well.
I try to avoid guys like SMat, Dugan & Turbo. I might consider them for the final few rounds... but it's probably best to have them in a l**p

I have Niu, Crichton, Latrell and Talau, so I should be fine. Hopefully the latter is only out a couple of weeks. I would have traded him this week but I couldn't wait any longer on McInnes.
