Why wouldn’t Oates be the first in like if Alex or Fifita goes down? He will actually get DPP in round 12 too.

Oates would probably be the safer option for a dpp 18th man

Decided to go Best/Latrell to Havili/Hunt. Have enough cover in the WFB/Centres to do it so fuck it. Hopefully sorts out my halves but makes my back 5 pretty weak.

Who would be best out of Fogarty and Havili for 17th man?

Was literally just looking at him. The way the season is playing out it seems he'll get a gig at 2rf or wing or bench depending on injuries in the squad. It's the bench that worries me. But importantly for me, Broncos usually play early in the round, he's playing 2rf this week and I need to play him in my 17 this week, and he's cheap. Would suck if he just comes off the bench though when the troops are back. But could do worse as an 18th man right?

The Koroisau trade talk interested me earlier. So thoughts on

Koro > Brown
Leilua > Hunt

If you are happy to have Oates back on the wing for Broncos in a couple of weeks, go for it. Top 3 picks for 2RF at Broncos will be Glenn, Fifita, TPJ, so when they have troops back will be down the pecking order.

Does Watson pinch minutes off McCullough or Ese'ese? Any thoughts?

Yeo to Hunt seems solid as long as we are right on our hunch.
Latrell to Crichton could be sideways. They actually have scored pretty similarly but Latrell’s worst ones are more recent and fresher in the memory whilst Crichton’s double has made everyone forget that just a round ago people were making jokes that he needed a hatty to crack 50. Nothing wrong with being aggressive with it if you back him to keep scoring tries with their easy draw though, and Latrell IS gone for two games.

Edit: or did you mean Angus Crichton? If so, definitely pull that trigger!
With an achievable BE, and Fifita gone I’d be giving Rudolph a game or two at lock. He went a tick over 1PPM there in round 5 and really just needs the minutes.

On a side note what the fuck is going on with Lolo and his minutes. Paid a premium for this monster and I expect better that a high 50 score every week.

trading Koro went through my mind for two reasons. I have too many hookers and his $$ let's me get a decent upgrade out of Drinkwater.

As 18th man, yes I would be happy to have Oates playing wing for the Friday night channel 9 Broncos as a potential loop option. Ending up on the bench would be the problem.

Given his versatility, I personally think that bench would be Oates best position going forward. Allows them to carry a forward that is good for covering the backs as well.

Yeah I ment ACrichton I will be doing yeo and latrell to hunt and cheapie this week and then rudolf to Angus next week.

What I am surprised is that there is no fallout on the fact that Green made Holmes play when he wasn't fit and now he is out for months. I thought it needed a bit more questioning by the journos.
