I've got the armband locked on Teddy for the next few weeks, he is just too good to pass up. He's only averaging 2 points less than Haas, with a lot more upside. Take out the Eels game where he got HIAed and he averages 74, 4 points more than Haas.

With his draw coming up (Raiders, Warriors, Titans, Dragons in the next 4), I can't risk not captaining him. Anyone who owns Teddy is doing themselves a disservice by not captaining him

Including this week against Raiders, interesting.... Fair enough the next couple, but surprising you're looking at captaining Teddy this week even though Raiders have depleted middle, they're still going to put up a decent fight in GF rematch

Is it silly to stick Lomax on the bench for his scoring ability and dual position cover?

Looking at going Croft > Starling and Latrell > Dedwards (worthwhile going Sheck or Ponga instead?).

9 trades left, $261k itb after trades for upgrades next week.

The only thing that could slow Teddy down vs the Raiders is if its raining. #nonowner #wishfulthinking

Morning team, added team for reference

    Thoughts on Leilua/Luai to Hunt/Havili?

Both improvements, team would be this with 8 trades left

    Koro
    Haas, Mofo
    JTurbo, Murray, Butcher
    DCE, Hunt
    Crichton, Niu
    Teddy, Ponga, Pappy

    Grant, Robson, Carrigan, Norman
    Havili, Talau, Paix, HTF

Not sure about bringing in Havili and not playing him straight away.

Is trading friend to hunt when you only have 11 trades left madness? Sick of being on friend health watch

Also havili seems like a big call for most but his average as starting hooker slots him straight into the “not a keeper, not a cash cow” category no? Happy to be proven wrong

I unfortunately need a winger so deciding whether it’s RTS and sub 450 player or just getting rapana for a gamble

Is there a chance Havili plays 80 every week? They are horribly low on troops and surely they want there experienced guys on the park as much as possible?

Moves to lock when starling comes on?

    This is my thinking.

I'd get him in a "normal" season - 26 rounds, working around Origin/byes. But this year not seeing a lot of point in getting someone who won't average enough to keep, costs too much to leave in EMG, and probably won't make enough cash to be a cow (if I have enough trades left anyway).

I already did this with Young 2 weeks ago, with hindsight it was gross then, and I don't want to repeat it.

I am tempted to grab Kai O'Donnell, I'm going to assume he gets a few more mins this week...?

Worried that the Raiders are active in the market to bolster their forwards, which might push him down the pecking order, otherwise I think there is some upside there?

I think Ricky will just stick with Papalii and Lui as big minute men. He brings youngsters on notoriously slowly and I think KOD starting at lock last week was just to get his minutes out of the way

But with a depleted Raiders pack he is as good as punt as anyone

Probably correct there. Typical fantasy player error is to expect the young guy to get the mins when its usually the nailed on players who just push out to longer stints.

Hamissing + Slacktrell are both making way this week. Was pretty set on holding but the chance to upgrade slacktrell > hunt is tempting.

Gives me the half that I need. Thoughts?

Trade target will be Twal next.

Does he have the engine for 80 in the middle? No data to say yes but he’d be a great signing if this was to happen

He won't play 80.  Maybe not right away anyway.

He might not have a choice. They have been absolutely pillaged by injury.

    It’s a punt for sure

If it helps I've done the same thing. Previous 18th man was Fogarty, who has now moved into the 17 replaced by Havili as 18th man

Looking at trading Su'A to M.Eisenhuth. Anyone know if He has any job security issues that would make him a bad buy?

Pretty likely that Twal will take his spot/heavily impact his minutes.
