His 2nd try was out of the blue & unpredictable but the 1st try I doubt Brooks would of passed to him. It almost has me thinking of going Angus back to Lucy just for the cash (not chasing points) so I can get a better 16th man. With the Warriors & Bulldogs in the next 4 games he could do well.

I had the thought he might get a few short balls off walters earlier in the week, it was why i was going to bet on him for a try. Came to fruitition but no idea if its an actual thing or not...

Saw the score this morning and immediately regretted not putting Talau in over Niu.

Turns out either Talau is actually rubbish or they just go to Nofos wing 9/10

    TU: Talaus rubbish
    TD: Talau got no ball

No matter what both not good signs for the future

Why pass it to Talau when Luciano is in red hot form standing right next to him.

The Broncos remind me of my dementia ridden father.....they both have no idea what they're doing. At least my father has an excuse lol.

Can we all agree now that captaining anyone other than Haas or McInnes is seen as a gamble and not a sure thing? Even then the extent of my gambling would be someone like Cook, Taumalolo, Smith, Grant, Cleary, DCE that still have a monster base - the worst you are going to get is a 40 odd

During the week we saw statements like "you have to captain Teddy" because a back was in a purple patch. I still think his score is pretty generous and could have easily been a disaster considering he was on 2 points after 17 minutes

    Joliffe’s last five games have been 50, 30, 51, 30, 24

Where do you think he ends up averaging?

I think he's a good fantasy player but he's made a few errors the last 2 games. I think if he just sticks to the basics tackling & hit ups & not try anything to risky he could score 40+ each game.

It's certainly a gamble but that's the fun of it. I'm going to keep C'ing Teddy too. He has only one score below 50 in 80 minutes and he's got a draw coming up with some weak defensive teams.

C on Grant has cost me 24 points, annoying but not the end of the world. Theory was fine, didnt think Haas would play 80 after comments during the week, ah well.

Would anyone play HTF over Fogartys 21? I mean, at worst HTF probably scores 10 again... but he could.. do.. better? Lol

If it was absolutely anyone else I would be completely against banking a 21, but Hammer actually makes this a toss up. Surely he scores more than a 20 as starting fullback...

    Niu didn’t.
It’s a risk but you’ve got more to gain than you’ve got to lose.

Yeah I wouldn't be getting too regretful over Haas. Let's face it, would any other coach in the NRL keep their 20 year old prop on the field for 80 minutes when their side is getting massacred.

I guess it is a sign that you don't have to worry about his game time though because he'll stupidly stay out there no matter what. I'd expect another 80 minutes as the Storm attempt to reach triple figures next week.

Three Knights today and that’s it for me until 4pm Sunday. Really dislike having my players spread so unevenly across the round.

    My trades were:
Luai out - Havili in (kept Fogarty which was the wrong trade & a ballsup)
    L. Mitchel out - D. Edwards in (will be doing tonight)

On the bright side L. Leilua is in his side & Haas (c). Currently 511/9. Next week Friend will become B. Hunt because with selling Luai I don't have half backup. If Fogarty is out I'll have to trade him too.
When I took over his team he was ranked 10,559 & currently 1,812 so he's making progress.
