Oh and cmon Aubbs today, a try would be nice amongst 35-40 tackles.

If we were prior to round 1 with unlimited trades I think most would steer away from a 40-50 minute bench hooker with questionable job security. Having to spend a trade to get him in seems a bit crazy to me, but he is the most traded in option this week scratch

Not sure I'm seeing how he has questionable job security? With Hodgson out for the season, the Raiders don't have a 80min hooker so he's pretty much guaranteed to get game time each week right? Based on last week's game he offers more spark in attack than Havilli anyway. CHN and Bateman coming in I can't see making any real difference to Starling's minutes, moreso Havillis

CHN and Bateman provide the questionable job security. Havili's second stint last week was at lock. If CHN and Bateman are around to fill that role Havili comes back on as hooker for his second stint. Suddenly the 50 minute bench hooker is a 30 minute bench hooker

Feel like I'm slightly above par so far with 7 for 493. Let's see some updates for Captain Haas

Very tough decisions to make today.

I’m in need of a centre or wfb, and in 2 minds on whether to buy:

    A) Teddy and someone like Starling or Siro, or

    B) someone like Aubo and Jazz

Option B gives me some decent $ for an upgrade next week.

Teddy is maybe overpriced at 911k, but he’s in god form.
My gut wants Tevaga but that doesn’t mean much.

The biggest risk is that they get a hooker from another club, like knights, broncos, tigers have all done

Y'all have made very good points about Starling.

I guess I could go Luai to Aubo and then Koroisau to Cleary? Originally went Fermor to Starling and Koro to Cleary.

Seems a much better option than Starling to me. Job security is not a concern with at worst him being 1st middle off the bench

Yeah after seeing the CHN news, and with Bateman about to return there will be less minutes to go around.
Havili 50 mins and Starling 30 mins is my guess (sound like a Sticky rotation to me)

Ricky Stuart specifically said that Starling is their number 2 hooker and has been all season. So make of it way you will.
I'm unlikely to buy Starling, but won't be surprised if he ends up averaging 50+ minutes through the rest of the year. Didn't look out of place in first grade, and short of the raiders acquiring a more experienced hooker before the deadline, his JS probably isn't as bad as some think.
In a funny way CHN may make his JS better as they may not have budget to grab another HOK.

On Fogarty one thing that surprised me last week was his dramatic decline in kick mtrs. I was expecting the coach to make Fogarty the dominant half after how well he went the week before last week when Taylor went off for his hia & Fogarty took control of the team & for that brief period imo the team played better without Taylor in it. I think if the same thing happens this week re kick mtrs then I don't think Fogarty will score that well. It's a tough choice though .

Id like to know this too. Is it the coach or is it just Taylor taking over and trying to be the man.

They'd have to do it quickly, the top 30 squads are finalised 3rd August I believe

Haven't really seen any rumours of any HOKs to Raiders yet either

In terms of cash outs though, I do believe Siro > Starling even though I got Starling last week

Around the 60 min mark CS9 was in line for a very average fantasy score.

Who do we think wins out of Dragons or Sharks? I tipped Sharks but am thinking of changing to Dragons.

Teddy is premium price but how long can you wait before you think you'll be able to get him in. Tevaga does allow you more flexibility but how effectively can you use that spare cash? Giving that a thought or two might help you make your decision.

It will be close. The Dragons have found a bit of form, they struggle with their attack though.
My tipping is terrible, but I can see the Dragons take the win
