if the media, thanks to the Titans, doesn't eat him alive first, I don't care how many excuses are bleated for why over-paying for any player is justified, $1.2 million for an edge forward is honestly brain-dead, it'll be Ash Taylor all over again, except more predictable because there's guaranteed to be games where Fifi barely sees the ball out there, and then the Kents and Rothfields will tear him down for not being worth the pay-packet he's on.

nah fuck that, if 1.2 mill is the asking price, don't let the door hit him on the arse on his way out, no edge forward is worth that, Cordner has been consistantly regarded as one of the best edge forwards running around, plus he's the Australian captain, and he's never breathed anywhere close to the same kind of air as the highest-paid players in the game.
