NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 69 - 69 Dude!

Saw this on the Broncos forum - tweet from Mark Gottlieb:

"Broncos end of week confidence session is bizarre as an outsider. Front rowers kicking goals, Milford practicing short dropouts, TPJ didn't even wear football boots after not training Wednesday. Some like Pat Carrigan clearly taking it very seriously, others not so much."

So obviously Haas will take the kicks at goal especially after he scores a try on the wing.

Yeah mate, I agree. I actually really like watching this fella play, as a neutral observer. Been killing it in real life, and Fantasy for a good run now. Sad to see the injury.

Also on the Broncos I found out why Flegler's form fell off a cliff...he caught a bug in lockdown & lost a lot of weight & apparently he only got back to his playing weight last week where he played very well imo.

As a neutral Matt Dufty has also been in incredible form. Changed player from that days where his only skill was pleased, he has really improved his ball playing and support play

Hard to imagine this bloke was told to look elsewhere earlier this year

The prospect of playing for the Titans scared him into playing well to avoid it.

Also the Broncos forum believe Croft's injury is a smokescreen for being dropped....they are probably wrong but could be right.

Has thrown a few magic balls for tries... and also a few intercepts or near things. But he is definitely a more complete player and a sneaky POD keeper for those short at WFB of players and cash to upgrade.

It's amazing how having the coaching staff & players 100% behind you can do for a player's confidence & self-belief. Dufty has been cracking it.

Yeah Dufty is one of those guys who's gone to the next level.

Pretty happy with Siro's 48 points. Not so happy with McInnes and Lomax, but I trust in the balance of my team to still get a good score for the round.

I thought Lomax was pretty unlucky with his end score because he could of easily scored a couple of tries if he received better passes. He was carving up early in the game but he just had an off night after that. Also his gk was off as well.

I just want to say C. Graham had a shocker with his positional play...those first couple of Dragons triers were all his fault either rushing out of the line or not marking up on his man & coming in when he didn't need to. He's lucky they have so many outside back injuries or else if I was Bennett I would drop him next week.

It was a pretty scrappy game and he got more negatives than usual, but I'm not too concerned he's been solid for my team all year.

lol in a sc forum some guy gloating because he sold Lomax & saying basically I told you so & of course this has not gone down well.

The bloke is averaging 40+ in a position people have had tonnes of trouble all year. One off game sucks but it won’t make the bloke. He’ll bounce back. Got a couple of tough games before dragons go up against a trio of QLD teams.

My bench is set up as Grant Carrigan Young Siro... would you take young or chuck in butcher/Randall?

disclaimer, dont own Lomax. And loved seeing a 15,

but watching that game, he could have EASILY hit 40+, just super unlucky with the way the game played out. If im lucky enough for another 15 pointer next week from him, I reckon all/most non-owners will be buying him after some big price drops

People have been saying "Lomax will have a bad score" every week for months.

Someone was bound to get it right eventually.

He'll still be high 500k with another low score, and I still couldn't spend that much on a CTR

Not counting my chickens on another low score, he had -18 in demerits last night (4 MT, 4 errors, 1 PC)
