It's not even that he's going lower than average, it's that he's doing it against teams that he should be blasting off the park, while he then fires up against better teams when nobody captains him.

If Failhub actually gave out TBs properly, I wouldn't be talking about them.

Why should he do it against the lesser teams? Opposition rarely means fuck all in Fantasy

If others aren't getting them for faint slaps, then by all means take them off Teddy. If the definition is consistent, that's fine, but at the moment it isn't consistent at all and it seems to affect PODs more than highly owned players.

If anything, the long-term solution would be to make TBs worth 2 points instead of 3, and maybe increase FDOs and LBAs from 2 points to 3

Wouldn’t solve much because people would still be moaning about not getting their +2s

Chin up, Bethany. Captaining a WFB is always going to be a risky move. You gotta take the wins and the losses.

I know its frustrating at times, and that's sport in general but six or so posts in a row of complaining and swearing at stats providers and players is a little over the top.

Its a pretty fine line between success and failure each week in this game. An average of 54 for your players vs an average of 60 is the difference between losing lots of ranks with a 972 and gaining lots of ranks with a 1080.

The Roosters aren't playing well, they're missing 3/4 of their back line and their entire back row. It's no surprise Teddy isn't getting the space and tries he does when they're clicking.

Of course, he can still score well in ordinary teams - he did for Wests - but don't expect the 70 average from when the Roosters had more of their troops.

Another prime example of captaining backs being a risk regardless of opposition

Imagine how bad it would look it he was given the forward pass instead of LBA+TA for Aubbo’s try and got sin binned

Backs are simply too erratic to be a genuine captaincy option IMO

I captained Ted but when you look at it against McInnes or Cook, it's much the same this week. Took it off Haas for the first time and that's what I get.

For people constantly captaining Ted this was absolutely coming. The thought is that you think “just one more week” expecting the big banner game coming up, but all WFB have the low games too and by constantly rolling that dice you are eventually going to hit one of them.

Butters informs me this absolutely means a 100 next week though. This is how Fantasy works.

Teddy is fine in terms of getting stats he's owed, it's MoFo that I'm pissed about. If Failhub would just come out and actually explain what their definition of a TB is, that would go a long way for me.

Teddy was just lazy today, and that's not like him. I'm mostly annoyed because this was the perfect game for a ton (dry track at home), but ehh whatever. If it's not raining on Thursday night next week, then I'll give him one last chance against the Dragons though, since they're a worse defensive side than the Titans, and then after that it's back to Haas, or maybe Cleary since he at least has kick metres to prop his score up on low weeks

Tevaga getting 62 does offset the captaincy pick somewhat which is nice, and I'm now praying that Mann can fire up like he has been recently to help my rank (as he's my only real POD among top 1000 teams)

Young or Randall? Randall the safer play this week hey?

Not sure how safe Randall is given we haven't seen how AOB is going to run the show. With that said, Randall is in my 17.
