NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 71 - zero trades left

I can see why AOB would have Crossland on the bench over Randall. Crossland is more of a livewire and will add energy to the tail-end of the game. Randall is more of a controlled tacklebot.

Ok put a solid 20 minutes into this, I think it’s better for me to play with 16 then bring in a dodgy CTR or WFB

(a) play HTF & save a trade or
(b) trade Randall to McIntyre so I can move S. Crichton to fb & not have to play HTF

Also I'm selling C. Smith who do you prefer:
(a) DCE or
(b) J. Bateman

I have 4 hlfs already & for team balance (b) is probably better but the Manly draw is sweet & has them playing the Warriors twice so imo DCE will outscore Bateman. There's also the chance Des give DCE a rest & Bateman probably plays all the remaining games since he's fresh.

I know what will happen. Hammer is my 18th man so while most other poor bastards have to play him, I'll be all smug not having to play him yet the bastard will pump out a 60.

I personally think organising trsdes specifically to not play Hammer is madness considering the outs this week.

2. Have you got 2RF cover already? If you have and think DCE scores more, then go DCE. Stacking your INT with halves no different than people doing the same with hookers.

Only way around this is to start him ahead of Tedesco. It’s the perfect defensive play!

Interesting weekend coming up for the Aardvarks.
Holding Mann, Pearce and Hunt so team changes might have some impact on their reliability for the run home. Shd be good for Mann, not sure about the other two.

What’s the general feeling on Matterson?
Read something (can’t remember where) that he misses ‘at least’ this week so makes me feel like I need to pull the trigger given his history...pity, he was going really well this year (in real life as well as fantasy).
Would usually hold but It cost me last week and I only want to trade in top tier guns from here so using a trade to swap Randall to Starling/other To make 17 seems like a luxury.
I am thinking Cook or McInnes In for Matto and then upgrade Young to Fifi or Bateman in a couple of weeks.

Bateman will be a real POD in the top 1000, but I do rate DCE a little higher for the run home. I've had DCE since round 3 and he's been solid

Play HTF & if you need 2rf cover go Bateman but for a pure points play DCE (pretty sure he won’t be rested either)

He's a near certainty to be rested at some point in the lead up to the finals. If you have HLF's cover though then it's worth a shot.

What are all the CS9 owners doing(apart from WL)? Holding and praying he only misses this week?

Smith owners really shouldn’t panic. AC injuries that aren’t full ruptures that require surgery heal quickly. He will be fine. 3 weeks as a max but watching him move on the sideline I’d say missing 1 game and being back for the roosters game makes a lot of sense
