Yeah, probably a good idea. One point of concern was Talau’s 15 (or something) last year playing centre. But I guess new year, new Talau.

I might read to much into the psychology of sportsmen, but I think Talau would be wanting to play centre since it’s his preferred position, and he would see this as his chance to oust Mbye (whether Madge thinks that or not is irrelevant). He is a well built lad and Newcastle’s right edge arn’t an especially hard matchup. The 15 last year isn’t great but it is a sample size of 1 and he missed 5 tackles. I’m playing Talau (although I am forced to with only 16 men), but I am also playing HTF. I am less worried about Talau tbh- although the law of fantasy seems whichever one you do pick will be the flop

Still tossing up Siro vs looping in HTF. Think I'll risk HTF, but he'll probably go and bust out a 12 with a try.

Now that he’s probably not good value I’m convinced he’s worth it.

He’s averaging high 50s, playing less minutes than you’d like. He either maintains it or an injury/form sees his minutes/scores go up IMO.

Second season where I was too nervous to grab him and will likely regret it.

He is still 30k cheaper than his starting price which was definitely value based on his previous stints as a starting lock

Bring him in. Good chances he beats Siro and the most you can lose is 26 points!

Yeah true, will be looking closely next week.

Original plan was Matto, but with his extra time off the price falls are going to come too late.

I hope so, pretty much has to be a final 17 player for me now.

Shorter term, I have 5 players in the Knights- Tigers game and they could all shit the bed. Scoring range of 140 to 340 I reckon. Make or break.

Plenty of warriors fans on here. Thought I'd share part of Brent Read's article.

Closing in on Kane Evans and Adam Elliott for 2021. Have interest in Euan Aitken but so do the storm.

Will Holy Moley keep a spot with AFB out? Might use him as cash out next week with points potential

Two players who have been involved in controversy in the past two years. Great.

Had heard the Adam Elliott rumour and although he's not a top tier signing, if we're getting him on the cheap then that's not terrible.

Wonder how the squad feels about signing Kane Evans who previously used a racial slur against one of ours (allegedly, then allegation was withdrawn).
I'd rather not have Kane Evans at the club.

Doubt Elliott would be cheap.. isnt the whole reason he hasn’t resigned with the dogs yet because he thinks he’s worth more then what they can/were offering. Plus I heard the dragons were also looking at him not like he isn’t wanted

I don't see Elliott ahead of Tohu and surely we're investing in Katoa as the future so we wouldn't drop him back to the bench for Elliott.
I guess he'll most likely be at lock forward but that means Jazz gets reduced to a 20-30min interchange. moved back to rake or even out of the 17. Not sure I'm a fan of that.

Nothing wrong with having a player that can play 40-50 in the middle at lock/prop off the bench. Elliot is perfect for that role
