    961 for the week and dropped more ranks this week. If anyone could have a look and see if I have blinkers on but no Ponga is killing at the moment. My team currently;

    McInnes
    Haas Mofo
    Carrigan Tolo Lucy
    DCE Cleary
    Lomax Herbie
    Pappy Teddy Nofo

    Hunt Pearce Siro Young

    Talau Hammer Hetherington Randall

    7 trades and 132K.

    I have a few thoughts;

    1. Young - Taupau
    Pearce - Arrow/Moses

    2. Hetherington - cashout
    Pearce - Ponga

    3. Hetherington - cashout (212K)
    Young - JTurbo

    4. Hetherington - cashout
    Young - Tevaga

    5. Young - Liu/Brimson
    Pearce - Ponga

Paying top dollar for Cleary has screwed me with Siro staying in the 17. Getting Ponga destroys my team balance unless I punt on Liu, but then I'm playing Liu and Siro probably the year out. The smart play is to miss Ponga and go option 3. Although going option 4 gives me an extra 75K to upgrade Pearce next week.

Nofo is a concern but playing the Dogs this week, I think I can hold. Any advice would be great. Getting Ponga would keep my mind at ease but pretty much destroys my team balance.

I don't mind it, its risky/ballsy, but could pay off.

Not much left to think about now. Just survival mode now with 4 trades for the last 6 rounds.

    Robson > McInnes

    McInnes
    Haas, Mofo
    Lolo, JTurbo, Murray
    DCE, Hunt
    Crichton, Talau
    Teddy, Ponga, Pappy

    Carrigan, Leilua, Butcher, Sironen
    Munster, HTF, Randall, Niu

Munster will need to stick with limited trades. Would love one more guy to go with Sironen as backup but going down to 3 trades worries me a bit.

Wolfy - no Hethertington means then you need to play Carrigan as your 14-17 otherwise you have no prop cover if Mofo is a late out.

#2, #3, #4 probably the best options. Comes down to who you think will score better for who you are leaving out of your 17.

Does CHT have solid job security with Green gone now? What about Clune? (I guess it's a crapshoot trying to work out what Mary will do)

I think CHT is a much safer pick re job security.

Yeah. I'm just short of Pearce and Luai > McInnes and CHT (would have to go Clune). Or could get CHT and Cook.

For me the miss of the season is definitely Lomax considering how many trades have been used to get a centre playing week in week out.

Thanks mate. Yeah, that's why I'm thinking I may need to accept I'm going Pongaless and get a gun second rower to move Carrigan to the bench. Getting Ponga destroys the team balance but getting a JTurbo or Tevaga gets me not as higher ceiling but a better more consistent scorer. Problem is getting JTurbo I only have 217K on a cashout and I'd like someone half decent as the extra cover. Tevaga at least gives me options to get a better more reliable cashout.

Only issue at the moment, is the rested/dropped Flanagan. Hopefully back this week.. but I have my doubts.

Club medical staff will work with Havili this week on the appropriate rehab for the injury, but he is expected to be available for Saturday's match against the Broncos.

He might be available to play but probably fair chance he is rested.. why would you risk it against the Broncos..

I’d say even if he isn’t 100% he’ll play.. can’t go dropping these type of games and in the presser sticky didn’t sound too confident with his other options at hooker

You had a pretty good score for the week aside from missing out on Ponga.

Thanks mate.  Yeah, there were plenty of scores worse than mine.  Ponga just totally disrupts my team balance but means I have quite a few guns to carry a couple of dud options I'll need to play.  Those scores do hurt missing out on though.

Means playing both Young and Siro though which I thought would have been okay before the weekend....

I was one cheer even with Ponga so yeah.

People who got Munster in last week, are you holding or trading?

And what is the cutoff in trades remaining for changing your mind.

4 trades left for me and I will only be trading if either I can't field 17 or if I lose a gun for the season/close to the season.

    18-21: Grant, Randall, Averillo, HTF

Holding given he returned early last time. Have enough cover with Moses/DCE/Fog and possibly Brimson in this week, and have more pressing upgrades elsewhere.

I’m holding. Only 4 trades left after going Robson to McInnes.

Sironen will have to do as cover
