Yeah same here. Young goes before Butcher does. Young > Fifita in 1 trade this week... thinking Randall > Brimson for the other.

Teddy and Matterson come in next week.

If Young gets named on the bench I might buy Barnett (can only afford someone up to 617k with 1 trade) although with D. Saifiti returning it might affect Barnett. I also could afford CHN but he has a high b/e so I can see him cheaper later on so might wait.

I know one thing that won't change in TLT is naming Rudolf at Lock then bench him on game day. Every week this happens.

Hmm.....If I decide to bypass Ponga, and Sailor gets a run I can turn Hetherington into Sailor and Young into Tevaga with 2K spare. Miss Ponga, but I really like the looks of my squad with him in there.

No upside to playing full strength (if we win Bellamy and the media will play it off as expected because of Smith and Munster out), but could put a serious dent in premiership contention (imagine losing to a Storm team without Smith and Munster then trying to convince the boys you are premiership favourites)

    My team list guesses

Sailor half, Hunt 9, McInnes 13. Wiliame into the 21
Roosters get a few troops back but we see Tauk and Teddy/Keary get a rest. Flanagan back in but named at 18
    Tommy Turbo back for Manly
    Big changes for Tigers
    Edwards back for Panthers
    Havili named at 9
Cowboys name Drinkwater at 1, Asi at 6, Morgan at 7. Granville starts over Robson
Fermor named on extended bench again for Titans
    Magoulias into the 21 again

One thing is for certain, nothing will change at the Broncos. They'll name either Ofa/Teo in Pangai's spot and Kennedy will come onto the bench. Onwards and upwards!

Okay so yes cover is an issue, I have come up with two options to complete my team, one has centre cover and the other none. Might flip a coin.

    Trading Robson and E Katoa

To either Moses and Peachy or Jtrbo & Nikorima

    Koroisau
    Haas Tapau
    Tamalolo Yeo Tevaga
    Cleary DCE
    Lomax Talau
    Ponga Pap Nofo
    Hunt Carrigan Moses Peachy
    Starling HTF Niu BBurns

    or

    Koroisau

    Tamalolo Yeo Jtrbo
    Cleary DCE
    Lomax Talau
    Ponga Pap Nofo
    Hunt Carrigan Tevaga, Nikorima
    Starling HTF Niu BBurns

    Appreciate any advice.

2nd option does look better... but no CTR cover is playing with fire, or walking on thin ice, or risking it for the biscuit, or plain stupidity Razz

Good point, I missed that. Especially if this Lomax rubbish comes to fruition.

Thoughts on what to do with my mess of a side? Depending on what happens with Avo and Flanno, I might be forced to trade but if I can get away with holding trades, I probably will.

    4 trades left, 20k ITB

    Tevaga
    Haas, Fotu
    Fifita, Lolo, Yeo
    Cleary, Flanno
    Lomax, Crichton
    Ponga, Teddy, Papy

    Carrigan, Mann, Talau, HTF

I am considering going S. Crichton to Tevaga to strengthen my 17th man leaves me with no centre cover but I can deal with that when needed, I’d still have 5 trades left and:

    Hunt
    Haas MoFo
    Murray Taumalolo Yeo
    Cleary Pearce
    Latrell Aubusson
    Teddy Ponga Pap

    Carrigan Taupau Lucy Tevaga
    Sironen Hammer Randall Niu

I am tempted however to do S. Crichton to Moses and then bring in someone like a Campbell Graham to have as emergency WFB/CTR coverage. It would mean I have no coverage at hooker though.

S.Crichton to K.Capewell would be a nice trade in a couple weeks time if Capewell walks straight back into 60+ minutes on the edge.

Not sure why he would, Martin has actually been really solid and they’re ticking along nicely
