Fairly comfortable with my team except that I don't have any of the gun hookers (McInnes, Cook, CS9, Koro). Not sure if I should burn 2 trades to get one of them in of sit tight.

Sitting at 111 with 6 trades and 65k itb.

    Hunt
    Haas, Taupau
    Bateman, Taumalolo, Fifita
    Cleary, Pearce
    Lomax, Crichton
    Teddy, Ponga, Pappy

    Carrigan, NBrown, Lucy, Averillo
    Luai, Starling, HTF, KOD

General comment, the Fox digital mob will post literally anything, they don't care what's true or not true, there is no recourse to any of the shit they put out there.

Everyone should stop using their website and stop clicking/sharing their links. Fuck their bullshit.

I'm top 250 and running with 3, the average around here seems to be 5-6, 10 is a massive advantage alright.

You can pretty much just go out and trade to your heart's content to assemble a better gun 17 than most. Who knows how many trades the Top 100 have but I daresay 10 trades wouldn't be a common number among them.

Probably less than that as an average, its like the end of the round, you hear more about the high scores than the low scores.

There would be plenty around the top 100 that are basically 2 or less trades I reckon.

No easy way to tell, you have to go through a team manually.

The thing troubling me with my trades is how much cover is enough cover

Is Carrigan enough cover for FRF, similarly is one HLF on the bench enough cover

Are people trying to aim for double cover in each position or is that unrealistic

Not even enough players in the squad to consider trying for double cover, don't think its something most would be trying for, not intentionally at least (eg I have four halves right now, but thats just because the Fog just going great).

Haas/Carrigan/Mofo are reasonably unlikely to get a full games rest so to me FRF isn't a worry for me. Haas and Carrigan certainly arent going to be rested at the same time, if anything they will just get shorter stints here and there (eg carrigan last week). This is also where having PODs can be a disadvantage, if that POD does get rested it..

I haven't had centre cover since the start of the year when Wiliame first got injured.. guess I'm lucky he is finally fit and will come in if Lomax is out (i reckon lomax is fine though)

The advantage will be for those who have a trade or two up their sleeve and can make a trade to get 17 if there is a week or two left.

EDIT: wait I did have Talau, for a whole one week.... lol

Focus on having the strongest 17 possible and then cross ya fingers and hope for the best. Deal with things when you need too, if you worry too much about depth, cover etc it will likely be detrimental to your actual 17

On this... I am starting to think... Do i just grab someone like RTS and go the year without Teddy to ensure I am solid everywhere else?

I reckon Pearce will average more than Papy from here, but as you know, anything could and can happen. Looking at season averages over 7 games don't mean too much, one or two really big games is all you need, and hopefully no duds.

I have considered holding RTS, instead of Papy myself. The risk with RTS is the Warriors lose momentum as the season comes to a close for them.

Its a luxury upgrade to Moses (who I'm hoping can put up some big scores, obvs)

Anyone think there’s more to the Flanagan situation ? Nothing coming out in the media on what he actually needs to work on, all seems very strange. Reminds me of Croft getting dropped last year and Hughes playing out the year but Croft was actually playing poorly that’s the difference.

    Agree,
I thought Flanagan had even been out performing what was expected of him.

    Really good.

Unless coach is just playing games.
