Club sources claim Aubusson suffered an avulsion fracture, where ligaments pull away part of the bone. Any other season and surgery would have been the logical option for the 32-year-old.
Aubusson, however, is expected to return in three to four weeks and likely play with painkillers through the finals series. There are no issues injecting into that particular area of the wrist.

thoughts on Josh Jackson? always seen him as a lock so tempted by this, I swear he had some games in the middle last year anyone know what he was scoring then? still think he plays 80 possibly moving to 2rf if doorey goes off

Dunno if people saw this quote from Staggs but it is reasonably brutal and points to the divide in the playing group

“There’s some boys there in leadership that are not really doing their job and I think there’s a lot of young boys in there that are getting away with a bit,” Staggs told NITV.

“We need some leaders there to step up and to show us young boys what it’s about.”

Anyone playing social sport in nsw? Just read the cricket nsw news update that basically all social cricket is on hold till October and also read school sport is cancelled for now too.

Hoping that our winter cricket comp is still going ahead somehow as we've got semis this week and the GF next weekend but doesn't look promising:(

I had a look on MTB's site but only been named lock most recently in 2018. I too thought he played lock late last year but couldn't be bothered to figure out when so I dismissed him as an option out of laziness

CHT HIA at training (Keighran actually worse off from the collision), will need to pass every step between now and Saturday to play. Payten says 50-50. Leaves 21 fit players

I believe when he was playing lock he was still being named @ 11 as he likes the number.

His scores increase markedly from round 20 onwards last year. Didn't go below 50 with 3 scores in the 60s. Can't be bothered checking, but would make sense if it was those games as he'd only gone 50+ 4 times in the previous 19 rounds.

Was also when he was playing around 60 minutes

Very interesting option put forth. Averages 40 for the year with no tries in the back-row. Potential for scoring to improve in the middle.

He's high on my consideration list now.
