Options as I see it:

(a) Haas to Hunt: Leaves me ~$160K for Talau to a better 17th man. Added bonus of Hunt to HOK, CM9 to bench for 2RF cover.

(b) Randall to Koala/Ofa: clears out a long-term red dot which could be important this season, for a potentially serviceable 17th man

(c) Talau to Hopoate: a decent upgrade with the ability to loop Hopo and Fui as 17th man once Haas is back.

(d) Hold the trade, you already have 18 fit players.

Thoughts please? I'm warming on Haas to Hunt.

Bumping this. By my maths Hunt + (C)M9 + money for a better 17th man outscores holding Haas by about 120 points. Think I like it but still seems crazy. Randall to Koala/Ofa might be safer?

Also going with Hunt as captain here. Been pretty consistent as starting hooker so far. Might not blow up but should be good for 65-75.

Just read off a Souths forum that Jed Cartwright and Dillon trained in the Souths starting 17 today. 

Someone has a photo of Dillon training in our 17 as well.

Doesn’t look good for Siro.

For those who say Manly have so many out they have quality out yes in Tommy T, D. Walker, AFB, Fainu and Elliot but apart from that they are close to full strength and still have a good side and really strong starting pack. Their guys off the bench like Keppie, Boyle, Gosiewski do a great job as well.

Souths are now without Roberts, Burns, Knight, Sele, Lowe, Amone, Sironen and Johns so 8 players and 6 forwards out. For a team with already fucked forward depth that’s a lot out.

I won’t bet against my team but I would not be shocked if Manly win and many punters put some cash on them at $3.00.

I was loving the idea of captain Ponga but I kept thinking about how the Cowboys completely shut him down just over a month ago. Truly don't believe it'll happen again, but I'm just being boring and going with highest averaging player in my squad, being Cleary.
