My logic is that I think he's just as likely as guys like TKO/Rat/Twal to score sub 40, and while he doesn't quite have the ceiling of those guys, he is almost 200k cheaper, meaning I have an extra 200k spare to cover one more injury (meaning I can easily buy Haas back to cover an injured FRF, 2RF or even HLF (since I have quite a few of them)

That said, another option for me could be to run 16 players this week and then sell Lolo to Haas next week, if I'm confident that Haas will average 75 for the last 4 games.

    Welch averaging 50: 250 over 5 games

    Klemmer averaging 58: 290 over 5 games

    Haas averaging 75: 300 over 4 games.

    Thoughts?

Alternative, you bank 200k and it's Cleary next to go down. You end the season with 400k in the bank and a sub par scorer

If Cleary goes down, I can just sell him to Haas and run Munster and Wighton as starting halves, with Hunt and Mann as spares.

If you're confident with the Welch pick, the extra cash is invaluable for a last trade.

Never know when a gun could go down in the first 5 minutes and drop huge cash.

Lolo out for just about the season is so frustrating.

Can you play 17? I know I'm waaaayyy back in the ranks this year, but thinking short term pain for long term gain. No doubt there are those in the top few hundred with quite a few trades and you would still want to be one of those in a couple of weeks.

I think Lolo is pretty much a trade out, even if you only have 1 trade.

Unless you think hell be like Koroisau and make a miraculous return after a week or 2. Points upgrade you'll get by trading him is going to be big

Tempted to only use 1 of my 5 trades and go Lolo to Twal to cover Mofo. Means though I play all of Siro, Talau, Herbie and Hammer. What a Face

Could also go Hetherington to someone under 429K to avoid Hammer. Maybe Granville.

Just thinking if I can field 17 then 4 trades going into next week could be gold.

With MoFo, Haas and Lolo out, I have to play Clune, Sironen AND Fermor this week.

3 players that could combine for less than an average Cleary game.

Wow cue another huge rankings slide.

He has to be a trade mate IMO.

Fielding 17 may be enough to hold rank this week.

Can kiss my mid 300 ranking goodbye. Can only manage to field 15 this week as I am more focused on h2h leagues, got Haas Mofo Lolo and Fui with only 2 trades left. Praying that all Haas comes back next week and Fui gets that starting spot for a bit longer which will save me 2 trades in itself in which I can use one to get rid of Lolo next week then save 1 for the other finals games hoping I make it

I'm also thinking of bringing in Twal. Although I don't have Mofo, I have no FRF cover (and no Haas) and only 3 trades left. So while players like Matterson and Barnett are tempting, I feel the smart play would be to go for Twal or another player with DPP like JFH or McGuire.

Yeah, that's the thinking. Holding Haas too so it's annoying I have to get a FR just for the week but it is what it is. Thinking Twal plays big minutes again from this week.

Did Crossland go into Hooker after Green went down? Is he a chance of getting a starting gig?

He did but I doubt he'll start there.

Odds are one of two things happens.

    * Mann moves to 6, Randall starts at 9 with Crossland bench (I think this is less likely)

    * Mann stays at 9, two of Crossland, Lino and Hoy get in the side, one at 6 and the other at 14 (more likely I think)
