Mate do you reckon I should do what MS suggests and do an upgrade of Randall to Tevaga or Brown?

    I’d be running Haasless though.

Bad thing is if I don’t upgrade someone like a Randall I have to play Koala and Siro in my 17

Mate I haven't even gotten my head around what I'm doing.

Extra gun probably worth it in the long run.

Brittain is going to have featured in more games this year after this week than last year when people wanted him to play Laughing

He was so trash that Wayne made Cook back up after Oriign when he was busted.

So maybe I’d go with Randall to Tevaga or N. Brown, not sure who yet.

I think I’m joining MS and running Haasless, we can suffer together lol!

get Jazz if you want to play safer (half the top 1000 has him), or Brown if you want a pod.

I have both so I rate both Very Happy Also I'm part of Haasless gang

    Who's everyone captaining this week?

First thought for me was Cleary but I'm hesitant to do it against the Tigers, he didn't get that much vs them last time, and without Api I'm not confident captaining Cleary (he only got 59 in that Titans game where Api was out).

Hunt is a no-go with Brittain there, and I don't trust Carrigan to get enough since I suspect he'll be spending time standing under the posts.

Anyone fancy a Tedes(C)o? Vs Brisbane, with Cordner and both the gun wingers back, if there's ever a week where he'll go big, it's this one. I got burned captaining Teddy 4 weeks in a row a while back, but the bug has bitten me again.

If I was buying CS9 this week I would probably put the C on him, same goes for Bateman

Gotta laugh tbh. Finally gave in and got Hunt last week, because haas was out. That said he probs gets a try and scores 80 in 65 mins

You never know, maybe "get him a break" means shift him back to half mid game.. actually think Young did say two stints

Dragons - just moved an 80 minute hooker to create a role for our halfback as an 80 minute hooker who will now be rested for another hooker.

I didn't realise Brittain is the same age as McInnes, so we're not even blooding a youngster. But I guess anytime you can weaken your side for a 20 minute spell to blood a journeyman, you have to do it.

Can't help but think the Dragons would get more value from having some back cover on the bench. Someone gets injured in the backs and I guess Jackson Ford is playing CTR?

In conclusion, I'm captaining Cleary now.

I suspect there may be an element of bullshit involved or 'thinking out loud'

Hunt probably still scores ok but I don't think I will captain him again this week

Anyone keen on taking a massive gamble with Cotter? 242K starting Hooker… Has Granville on the bench who could play anywhere from 20-60 minutes a game but Cotter could be a cheap 35pt scorer?

I don't think Api's absence is going to affect Cleary's score.

Is it dumb that I'm considering captaining Munster against Manly? If he's a late out I can't cover him anyway (I only have 17 if he plays), so might be worth a punt? Would VC Cleary if I do this, as he'll at least get over 50.

Munster has a fairly high floor for a half (though not as high as Cleary), and he has the potential to go absolutely massive, against a glorified Blacktown Workers side.

Not saying this to create indecision as I'm not a Randell owner, but I've seen a few people talk about moving him on. What do you think happens if Lino has a bad night and the Warriors, Sharks and Rabbitohs win this week. Does next week become a must win against the sharks for the knights and Lino gets dropped or are they in the 8 with a small points buffer regardless.

If you can, I might suggest holding Randell this week and flick him next week if Lino goes well. I'm sitting outside the 1000 and about to pass on Matto and Cook to bring in CS9 as a POD trade which is weird to say, so maybe don't listen to me.

    Yeah that's a good point

I'm selling Niu first because he's no chance of playing, plus as someone who still has Mann, I would think Randall is a decent handcuff for him (as if Mann were to go down, the Knights have no hookers left at all)
