Hell of a performance, I'm glad someone finally showed up those titled pretenders. They are a top 4 side in name only, with Penrith, Storm, Roosters, Raiders all better than them.
Congrats on Souths first win against a top 8 team.
I had this to say to some mates last week RE: Parra

Bear in mind it doesn't account for trades for games not yet played, so eg (C) on Starling is probably actually McInnes/Hunt/CS9. Same for Lolo, likely a new trade in (or just a dif 2rf), but for the most part should be pretty accurate representation
Nathan Cleary 481
Patrick Carrigan 155
Cameron McInnes 102
Ben Hunt 82
James Tedesco 49
Damien Cook 34
Ryan Matterson 33
Cameron Smith 21
Jason Taumalolo 9
Kalyn Ponga 6
Daly Cherry-Evans 5
Mitchell Moses 4
Tohu Harris 4
Apisai Koroisau 3
Mitchell Barnett 3
John Bateman 1
Jake Trbojevic 1
Stephen Crichton 1
Tom Starling 1
Martin Taupau 1

Yeah Parra has not lifted, not worthy of a top 4 spot at the moment. Their attack has been woeful.
Manly hasn't been great either. Roosters struggling a bit with all the injuries

So, the C on Starling is not McInnes. It is Starling. And it is my Overall team.
Quick run down is I have only played for H2H for previous 2 years. This year I wanted to give Overall a crack so set up a second team and both have been travelling OK, but all my time and effort goes into my H2H team. It's even ranked much better to show for it.
Anyway, this week I played around with positions and figured if I was 100% playing Starling in my 17 and I wasn't going to captain McInnes, I may as well have all my DPPs on the bench. So I switched Starling and McInnes, said job's done, signed out and concentrated on my H2H team.
Logged back in after game last night to see if I could drop Starling to 18th man to take Siro's score and KAZAAM!! Starling locked in as captain. What a fucking gronk. I'd captained McInnes last week and accidentally left the C on my starting hooker again for this week.
They weren't doing the hard yards required to get field position. Moses kept kicking on the last well inside their half.multiple.scoregasms wrote:
They simply don't have another gear once the intensity lifts. I think it's a lack of maturity in the key attacking positions, it makes them play like they have to score on every single tackle. No cool head to know when to build pressure and when to take your shot
