I am tempted to go Randall to Cotter so I can go Taumalolo to Haas next week. However last week when Cotter started Granville ended up playing more minutes than Cotter from the bench. Granville 51 mins & Cotter 34 mins. Will this continue.

Captains in top 1000 teams as the rankings stand right now.

Bear in mind it doesn't account for trades for games not yet played, so eg (C) on Starling is probably actually McInnes/Hunt/CS9. Same for Lolo, likely a new trade in (or just a dif 2rf), but for the most part should be pretty accurate representation

    Nathan Cleary 481
    Patrick Carrigan 155
    Cameron McInnes 102
    Ben Hunt 82

Jaxson Paulo was very good last night especially when he smashed Sivo in the first half to stop Sivo scoring a try.

Damn, almost 50% with the Chin as cappo!

I went Paddy so hope he's up for a big one.

Maybe a mostly cosmetic chin laceration inside the first ten gets him an early shower?

Hell of a performance, I'm glad someone finally showed up those titled pretenders. They are a top 4 side in name only, with Penrith, Storm, Roosters, Raiders all better than them.

Congrats on Souths first win against a top 8 team.

I had this to say to some mates last week RE: Parra

Yeah Parra has not lifted, not worthy of a top 4 spot at the moment. Their attack has been woeful.
Manly hasn't been great either. Roosters struggling a bit with all the injuries

S Crichton the most intriguing captain there... could be a (very luxury) tradeout or could be a super ballsy captaincy play. Not sure which I hate more hahaha

Teddy could be a HUGE captain POD if he goes big tonight in the top 100.

I'll be able to trade Latrell to someone under ~635k next week (assuming Fui gets his spot back, please) . Problem is everyone who looks like a good buy in that area will probably jump out of reach by next week - Reynolds, Pearce, Munster, Friend all on the way up.

Might end up having to be RFM or JFH who have higher break evens. Maybe Brimson if he keeps it up or Capewell if he gets a starting spot back.

    Haha, brilliant. I'm famous.

... For being a fucking idiot.

So, the C on Starling is not McInnes. It is Starling. And it is my Overall team. Sad

Quick run down is I have only played for H2H for previous 2 years. This year I wanted to give Overall a crack so set up a second team and both have been travelling OK, but all my time and effort goes into my H2H team. It's even ranked much better to show for it.

Anyway, this week I played around with positions and figured if I was 100% playing Starling in my 17 and I wasn't going to captain McInnes, I may as well have all my DPPs on the bench. So I switched Starling and McInnes, said job's done, signed out and concentrated on my H2H team.

Logged back in after game last night to see if I could drop Starling to 18th man to take Siro's score and KAZAAM!! Starling locked in as captain. What a fucking gronk. I'd captained McInnes last week and accidentally left the C on my starting hooker again for this week.

They simply don't have another gear once the intensity lifts. I think it's a lack of maturity in the key attacking positions, it makes them play like they have to score on every single tackle. No cool head to know when to build pressure and when to take your shot

Given the Ron Pearlman tribute (complete with cross eyed kicking) he put in earlier in the year when he had that infection I doubt a shaving nick slows him down

They weren't doing the hard yards required to get field position. Moses kept kicking on the last well inside their half.

Lol. Wouldn't it be spectacular if something ridiculous like that actually happened? I'd even just take Havili as a late out. Fella's been knocked around a bit lately, I think he deserves a week off.

"Jack de Belin will face trial in November, accused of aggravated sexual assault of a 19-year old woman.
De Belin was set to learn his fate on Friday with Wollongong District Court Judge Andrew Haesler considering whether the trial will proceed or the NRL star would be allowed to walk free."

The judicial system takes forever, its been what, 2 years already getting to this point?
