Not gunna lie, with Ponga's first half, I'm a bit disappointed he didn't end up on at least 120!

Agree, although would affect the severity, no? I mean from what I've seen it was pretty bad, after play was halted and a shoulder charge so a few weeks out you'd think. If it was high as well that would make it twice as bad. I'm not convinced it was high.

I just think being a shoulder charge (already illegal) but then in a dead situation and where he launches himself so recklessly, it should be a long time to start. If he got the head as well it’s a bit longer.

It's one of the most stupid dog shot illegal hits I've seen for a while. 6 weeks would be about right, he can play if the Sharks make the GF.
Shoulder charge, launched himself in the air, aiming at Ponga's head, late, after the ref had blown time out.
I'm actually more surprised that Klem or Barnett didn't' come in and belt the shit out of him. (deserved a good thrashing for that stunt)

@StormTrooper96 I love your idea of trying to implement some more analytics to calculate trade in value. I think the problem you will have though is the inherent bias you could have with calculating predicted player averages; after-all if you could accurately predict how a player would score choosing the right player to trade in would be easy. I think past averages are the best you can use to judge a player with some minor weighting or adjustment when a player's role is changing (forward moving from bench to starting and expected to get more minutes as an example). Especially given how many positions and players are relatively match up immune.

Siro is going to score 35 isn’t he, just to tempt me into looping him with HTF

On an incidental note the aardvarks Newcastle boys lead a shuffle into the top 20 after last game...felt a bit queasy, must have been altitude sickness 😃

    Dropping down slowly now

Man, I remember there was a time this season where I had some doubt if Paps was worth it but he has dominated the latter part of the season.

You certainly weren't alone. The general consensus seemed to be to drop him (from fantasy; not IRL). Everyone just needed to believe in the advice of Lord Welshy.

Early in the season I planned on trading out Papenhuyzen and Luciano.

Kept both and it's gone pretty good.

wasn't a Broncos penalty ignored by the refs some weeks ago because they didn't challenge the offside ruling or some bullshit like that?

9/680c Don't think I've ever had a score this high after Friday night before.

CS9 been pretty underwhelming in 2 weeks of owning him but a low of 48 besides Crichton is a very nice start
