3 rounds left is a bit risky but 2 or 1 might be leaving it late to get a points boost.

I also have 1 trade left and don't intend to use it unless I have to but it will depend on how strong your 17th/18th man is. For me my 17th man is Moses/Hunt so there's no significant upgrade that will outweigh replacing any injury but if you have a weak 17th then maybe a trade at this point might be worth it if you have coverage and are willing to run the risk of a season ending injury being unable to be replaced.

Was hoping Hunt scored a little lower than what he did giving me an excuse to turn him into Cook.

There are too many variables involved to give a straight answer.
Variables such as your squad and team lists, ie if Ponga is rested this week do you have a replacement or will you need to trade.
Also if you are playing mainly for head to head, did you win this week and have a week off next week.

I can't read that article but why on earth would AOB rest Ponga when they are playing the Roosters?  Conceeding defeat already?

He did break his nose early in the game. It’s why when Townsend cleaned him up you see this white thing fly into the air - it’s the bit of bandaging that was up his nostril to stop the bleeding

Wooohhhhooo 1191 pre updates, my highest score ever. Also I’ve either won and gone into prelims in all my head to heads or won and gone to week 2 in the other leagues where I missed the top 4.

Great match up well done on a fantastic season Munmorah Maulers, I only just got ya in the 6 v 7 elim final in L10 but it’s not often at all you score over 1150 and lose a head to head so hard luck mate and congrats again. Looks like I’ll be up against The Goat Boys next week in week 2 of finals. One things for sure and The Goat Boys will go in as the favourite and has had a sublime year in overall beating me as well, I’m happy to be underdog next week. Good luck Goat Boys and may the best man win.

Congrats mate great week and you’re not a Ponga owner, fuck imagine if you owned Ponga.

Pre updates I seem to have gone up from 426 rank to just inside the top 300 but I won’t get ahead of myself yet as I need to wait for updates. Currently at a rank of 290 for overall though unchartered waters for me I’ve never been that high before.

If Ponga is out next week I’ll just hold and play Hammer most likely.

Hopefully Hunt isn’t suspended or anything for that trip as my 18th man Koloamatangi in my emergencies got concussed the other night and is in strong doubt for next week.

Well done to all who cracked 1200 as well awesome stuff.

Congrats to @MTB as well for entering the top 10 his charge for a top 5 or 6 finish is on.

In fact MTB is only around 40 points behind that dude who runs the OTL fantasy community who is sitting in 4th for overall. Those 40 points could easily be made up.

Any high % ownership players go down this week? Apart from potentially ponga i think it was a good week for teams with no trades left

So after all these updates pre any overnight changes I’ve scored 1193 and rank is up 140 places from 426 to 286 which I’m stoked about. I’ve sort of been hanging in there steady the last 4-5 weeks so it’s great to finally have a big week.

Wolfie you are 54 points ahead of me, I’m trying to catch ya but with trades up your sleeve I think you’ve got me. I’m backing you in for a definite top 200 finish as well which is a big achievement.

I just have 1 trade remaining which I wanna hold this week.

1164 - my highest score ever, won my H2H, and gained 400 places to be touching the top 1,000.

Still can't help being a little disappointed, could have been 70 points better if I'd just kept the C on CM9 instead of Cam Smith. As it turned out, 10 players in my 17 scored better than Smith, so i could have closed my eyes & picked at random and still been better off. Luck of the draw Mad Mad

1 trade left and barring any TLT shenanigans I'll seriously consider using it on Randall -> Cotter.

With Siro as my 17th man, HTF/Fui as 18th/19th and Talau/Randall red dots does that seem worth it?
