The mail out of Dragons training is that Dean Young has made some interesting changes to the team for Saturday’s match against Canberra.

This really wouldn't surprise me although it would never become public knowledge.

I don't remember much changing since the fanhub system has been in place?

My comment around costs was more to do with everything that has gone on this year with COVID, etc. Just don't see them spending a cent more than they need to on the fantasy product for 2021. It would be nice to be wrong though, because obviously, I'd like to see the product improved.

I remember around the time Greenberg departed that there was a lot of talk about NRL HQ bloat and cutting costs and I wondered at the time if that might impact Fantasy for 2021.

I suspect there might be minor/no tweaks to the product, but that's probably a better outcome then overhauling the app for a different look and feel (and the inevitable bugs and delays that would come with it). Hopefully Harvey can help put up some decent prizes (so at least some of us can dream...) and maybe MTB can add to his growing stockpile of Fantasy related wins...

LATEST: Cody Ramsey - rising Dragons star - to make his debut this week. He was the sensation of the 9s before he got hurt. New coach Anthony Griffin will be watching with interest.

Yeah still it'd be petty as to get offside with the players, particularly if he stays on the coaching staff

There's a fair chance the Dragons job comes up again in under 2 years (let alone other club first grade coaching jobs).

If anything I'd say he probably wants to make decisions that might achieve the sort of results that put him on the map as a potential first grade coach.

They basically can't make the top 4 from here after the weekend results so makes sense to give a few players a rest at some point

Griffin is just killing time until Flanagan serves his ban anyway. Unless he does so well they are forced to keep him on

Kalyn Ponga, Mitch Barnett and Hymel Hunt rested. Daniel Saifiti, Sione Mata’utia and Edrick Lee to return. Tex Hoy at fullback. 👍

The guy sitting in the number 1 spot for the Eels rankings has Barnett

Think he came through the juniors as an outside back so should be able to play fullback, centre and wing

If Ponga is out I could make a big move with 1 of my last 2 trades. I already have Teddy, RTS and Papy with HTF as back up. Could do something like Ponga to CS9 and then hope that 1 trade is enough for the last 2 rounds. Hmmmm...

Warriors are basically unchanged. GJennings and Alvaro back into the side on wing and bench respectively.
