What are the chances Barnett misses this week?

I am expecting big minutes from him in the middle this week. Is my POD captain looking to go 80+.

I feel C cubed has more potential to go big.

Anyone else feeling like the team budget is too high? It feels like Supercoach, you get all the guns you want. I like Draft Stars, where the budget is lower and it forces you to choose some weaker players.

I reckon it’s probably 500k-1m too big (1.5m less would make it tricky) but if there’s 29+ teams already might be a bit late to reconsider.

Yeah I thought that, it seems you can get a lot of guns in. Lower cap might make selections more varied, but it's not a bad thing.

I have no problem with reducing it (i didnt really play around with making a team yet), it will probably just mean I have to wipe all the existing lineups (just to save the trouble of scripting it).

I assume everyone who has signed up is following this thread anyway?

Are you able to just wipe the teams when you change the cap. With everyone signing up so quickly I'm sure everyone will see they need to redo their teams. 7.5m would be close to perfect I reckon. You would need to take a few bold lower end picks and would make things quite interesting too.

The one last year was 5m for 8 players across each week which is 625k average. That would equate to 8.125m for this format

I felt that was difficult to fit in lineup, but then you have to factor in prices are more expensive this year

I do think decreasing salary would make it interesting. I've basically just spent a lot of money in CTRs for no reason

Yeah, I reckon do it. Would mean potential less ownership on high end players.

I agree it feels too easy to stack your team with an average of about 653K per positon. Take into consideration your centres probably average about 400K (800 total)? That leaves an average of about 700K per position everywhere else which is pretty high when you mix in your Papenhuyzens, Barnetts, Starlings, Klemmers, Papalii’s who are all well below 700K and will be very popular!

B/L's survivor cap was usually 7mil. It was tricky but you could get a decent enough team. With less players though, 7.5 would be okay. Not sure if you'd want anything less than 7mil though.

I think 7.5m is good. Then 4.5 or 5m when it’s down to 8 players. Intuitively it makes sense to me to have slightly more cash per player when the squad is smaller but I dunno.

The main reason I thought 8.5 was too much is because I was under basically putting in everyone I wanted. That has never happened to me before with a fantasy comp in any sport!

!!! Finals Fantasy Week 1 Cap has just been reduced to 7.5 million !!!

I've wiped enough players from everyones team to make them cap compliant without completely erasing.

7.5 mil cap is now FINALISED and will not be changing again, your selections are now SAFE Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Suspect Suspect Suspect

Don't change it mate, there's clearly enough variation in teams and captain choice given only a squad of 13. Learning for next time though!

EDIT: Hahaha or change it, I'm not your Mum :pp:

Lower cap is probably going to force teams to become more similar is it not?
