Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 1 - Game on Mole
I'd like to welcome me back from my annual hiatus. Rather than speculate before a trial has been played or an injury sustained on who is playing what position or who will start. Can somebody please post a list of who is training the house down so I don't have to go back and read the last 20 pages and begin building my team.
Thanks in advance.

The Brisbane Broncos played beach volleyball at Burleigh Heads yesterday morning. I have never before seen a team in such perfect physical condition. Expect significant improvement this year.

Saab is basement price for someone who has played before.. will be a cheap WFB option and should surely knock Taufua off position.
Walker would be a great option in CTR if he nabs the 6 spot
Also where is Fainu? His trial is in July so won't be back until later in the season but he is still training with the team and signed on for 2 years.

Taufua had ruptured Achilles so will be missing early rounds but Saab is garbage in fantasy (only 2 scores above 20 in 7 games, one with 2 tries)

I think there will be a few better options than Saab on the wing (Simonsson or pay a bit extra for Reimus Smith)

Looks to have bulked up a bit, should have better half/FB/players/coach around him now as well. My pick for a breakout year

Beach volleyball. The bar has been raised. That's more than I could have hoped for

Saab so far has been a fantasy dud! Will that change?StormTrooper96 wrote:Saab is basement price for someone who has played before.. will be a cheap WFB option and should surely knock Taufua off position.

I think I’d rather gamble on Simonsson.

Won’t it be this:StormTrooper96 wrote:Mark my words, remember the name Jack Howarth
Also Tui seems a great pick... 390k and should pick up where tino left off
I highly rate King if he can find some decent minutes
J. Brom
Grant
Welch
Kaufusi
K. Brom
Finucane
If that’s the case I can’t see more than around 35-40mins for Tui....
Bellamy also doesn’t really give his forwards good minutes off the bench either......

Tui will step into Tino's 40 minute roll and can rack up points at a very similar pace. Priced around 28 And over the last 2 seasons at the Storm has an average of 0.9ppm over 32.6 minutes a game.
So if he steps into around 40 minutes a game off the bench (Tino’s role) that pushes him to about 36 points per game, which statistically makes him about 8-10 points underpriced.
Look I am not saying he is going to come out and average 50+ a game… but he has a decent base in metres and tackles (24.85) and in a season that looks like we will need a lot of depth in our squad with the lack of DPP’s, Tui seems fairly cheap for a nice bench option at 380K…

Here is a theory for you aluminium heads.
Storm want to keep Brandon Smith happy right? He is a massive part of this team, but really wants to play hooker.
What are the odds Grant plays about 50-60 minutes a game and Brandon Smith spends some time in the middle and at hooker throughout the match?

He's probably not a bad option, and is on my watchlist, but really depends on if there are better options available at MID (plus he's a mid-range MID and I'm trying to keep down the volume of mid-rangers).
Returning from a back injury makes it a little bit less appealing

I think it’s just a default feature to stop the pages clogging up during football season.
I kid Rabs, we all like you here
