Apparently Tetevano's working visa issues have been resolved so he's going

That would be nice, but getting smashed with injuries while falling behind on the rankings and having cows around can make that difficult. I definitely wasted quite a few though.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 1 - Game on Mole
Definitely the key is nailing your round 1 team & being lucky with injuries so you can conserve trades. You want to use the bulk of your trades from rounds 13-17 which include the 2 bye rounds because after the 1st bye round 13 you basically want to swap out round 13 players & buy round 17 players over this period. Then after round 17 you want enough trades to finish strongly. So if we get 34 trades then rounds 1-12 use 10 trades, rounds 13-17 use 14 trades, rounds 18 to the end use 10 trades.
Wouldn't it be great if it was that easy lol

Off topic but the funniest thing & at the same time the most stupidist thing I've heard this week was Bernard Tomic girlfriend getting pissed off because she has to wash her own hair during lock down in Melbourne the poor lass. But the real tragedy is she has to also wipe her own ass after a crap.

I thought she was joking, but just in case she got death threats so all good
Fui is a journeyman, whereas Ford could be something more. I think he’ll definitely start and while his price doesn’t make him a must have he could be an option.
Mighty Fishes wrote:Everyone talking about Ford starting. Is there any reason Tyrell Fuimaono wouldn’t get the spot considering he was the one covering there last year?

Some quotes i read from Ford recently made it seem like he was the frontrunner for the spot

Does anyone have any idea as to how long Ponga is out for? Hoy looks good (considering The Knights start) for a few price rises. He could even linger in 18-21 for a few weeks -as ge must be just an injury away from starting anywhere in the backline.

So does that mean McInnes returns to being an 80 minute HOK?my tv broke wrote:Some quotes i read from Ford recently made it seem like he was the frontrunner for the spot

Lots will start with Bird at that price. I will strongly consider it.
Ramsey could make good money but he’s a bit awkwardly priced.
Ford if in a big minute role could he handy with DPP.
Alvaro is very cheap even if he gets 35mins he should make money.
I wouldn't be playing McInness or Cook at HOK. If you pick McInness surely you play him as a MiD and use the many good value options at HOK instead. Not too many 80min MID if any out there.
Agree with Alvaro bit of a PPM beast from days gone by if I remember correctly.

Why not Cook ? I understand wanting to go for value but Cook is such a safe/reliable pick every year. Problem with hok is if you go cheap and it fails then its a hard problem to deal with.
I went Koro last year but tbh he was a safe bet. This year is j brails, egan.. manly hooker?

Cook is firmly on my radar as gun option. It seems I'll easily be able to fit in Cook/Taumalolo/Crichton while also grabbing a gun half in Moses and not sacrificing else where. Cook you can pretty much lock in to finish the year with an average over 60 with a floor of 40 odd.

Cook is the best value gun hooker. I'd go him over McInnes given the prices.
Barring injury Cook will be in your team all year and is a valid captaincy option. Origin the only downside

On Cook last year it seemed he was pacing himself early on in the season & he hardly took the line on preferring to pass instead & pulling a massive handbrake. I'm going Grant as my gun hooker....he'll go hard from the get go.

I have heard some say Grant won’t benefit due to being around better players, but I think opposite. Having players like Munster, Papy, Brandon around him he will find more opportunities to rack up attacking points while also making 40 tackles a game

I think Cook has one of highest ceilings of captain options but bit of lower floor. Depends on your personal preference
Cook had 5 scores <50 last year but to be fair 2 were pre 6-again and 1 in R20 when subbed early in 60-8 win. Though next most scores <50 of captain options is 2

He kept the spot once Fui got suspended. Fui on his return got 15 miutes or so on the field and then struggled to make the 17. New coach I guess though.

I won’t be wavering. If Cook is fit he’s in my round 1 team.
