My opponent captained Cleary with VC trbo last week, so hopefully it's a dead team and he does that again

Eliminator opponent changed captain to BSmith, so it's not a walkover for me.

But I traded in DCE this week, which is a good start

He's actually off to a ripper start. Had Tom Gilbert score 28, but Drinkwater, Rudolf, JFH and Burton giving him a strong early advantage. Looking down the page, he probably only needs his Captain Hynes to go big and he gets the win easy as that.

My eliminator could go either way as well.  He had DCE (but didn't captain him fortunately) but he also had Saab (5 points). I had VC on Burton and with only 17 players (actually 16 with SST out), happy to double his 72 points.

I will need to bring someone in for SST though.  Like the rest of the forum on the fantasy side, have narrowed down to CHN or Curran.  They both miss a fair few tackles, which are penalised more heavily in this comp. Curran seems to be slightly better value, but CHN has a bigger score in him...

Man the one week I don't play Fog he gets 100. Is it worth selling Uto to a nuffy to guarantee my AE is either Fog or Avo?

Edit: did it as a test, forgot you couldn't reverse after lockout over here. Oh well, probably not worth it but at least I have bank now

I'm going to be out tomorrow, chaps. Opposition had Doueihi for -7, which is the only reason I'm not 100% toast already. But going in tomorrow I have a 44 point lead with Macca, vs his Hunt and Luke Thompson. Shocking weekend across all formats.

I'd probably rather be in his shoes but it's not 100% out of the question and stranger things have definitely happened mate.

Yeah, I'll hope for the best, but expect this to fall in line with the rest of my season so far.

I knew I was in trouble, but with a fit Doueihi, he would have had me covered with great ease.

Anyway, hope you and others are faring much better than I.

Opposite for me.
Opponent has 96 and Macca V me with Hunt, L. Thompson and Bird.

My opponent isn't inactive turns out, he happily just loopholed Ipap to jump within reach. Should still be OK unless Cotric banners and Avo shits the bed

With such a random scoring round, looks like a lot of us are in closer eliminator match ups than what we would have ideally preferred this early in the game.

I was cruising before old mate decided to captain JHughes - great call.

Still have a 40 point lead and Bird vs his Macca, so definitely rather be in my position but I'd far prefer to watch without having to worry about any injuries or Macca jagging a freak try or two.

Funny old round. Sittin on 850 with Thompson to play. Was all about getting D Fifita and Cook in all week then had to abort plans. Gonna be some big variation in scores I suspect ...

Does anyone know what is happening with " Show me the Meaney " in our league ?

Going into round 14 " NRLFF L1 " was only 113 points behind " No Worries League ".

" Show me the Meaney " this round is only playing with 12 Players with 5 players on the bench who scored.

C'mon boys we need to retain our title as we have for many years.

I suspect that will be a fairly high score for the round mate.

My PODs Doueihi and Laurie making life real tough in eliminator. Saving a trade was a bad idea

Edit Hopefully there is a genuine excuse. Simple abandoning teams on a forum for fantasy nuts pisses me off

Sweet mother goodness, thank you to Ben Hunt for that. I survive another week. Genuinely relieved, and it took my mind off Fantasy for a while. Can't believe I got away with that one. Macca one of the few performers for me this weekend... Sexy man.

How'd you other guys in a tight spot go? Hope we all survived.

790 comfortable wins my eliminator. Not sure if that score will give me such an easy ride next week.
